As the rain continued to sprinkle on the city, I flew down to the hotel I was staying at (Dynamax Wonderwall) on Charizard's back. A good chunk of people and Pokemon were racing in and out of the building. Charizard landed carefully, the power of her wings creating minor pushback against the water on the concrete. I hopped off, enjoying the fresh, moist atmosphere before turning to Charizard. She nuzzled against my neck, and I hugged her back lovingly. After a bit, we stopped embracing, and I pulled out Charizards' Pokeball and returned her. I then put it in my bag and walked inside the hotel, where I saw dozens of people checking in, likely due to the upcoming tournament.

I pushed through the sea of heads and diverse sets of Pokemon, feeling an array of spikes, fur, and strange skin rub against my body. I eventually made it to the elevator hallways, and seeing they were packed with people, I took the slightly less crowded stairs and walked up to my floor. Thankfully, the Gyarados-sized hallways gave me plenty of room to run upstairs. I made it, walked past a few groups of people, and finally made it to my room. I put my hotel keycard in and stepped inside, sighing as I walked to the kitchen. I opened the fridge, grabbed a bowl of Pokechow for my team, and spawned out Chronobbit. She blinked with her large crystal eyes and looked up at me happily. I turned to her and asked her to spawn out all my Pokemon away from the kitchen so there'd be room to feed them. Chronobbit nodded, took my bag off my shoulders, and dug through them, grabbing any Pokeball containing a Pokemon. While I poured bowls for each of my Pokemon, Chronobbit spawned out each one of them across the room. I then turned to all nine of my Pokemon, carrying a bowl of Pokechow for each of them, and said,
