Episode 39: The New Species Pokemon

Narrator: In our last episode, our heroes decided to split up and spend their day in Star-Lit City. Isaiah and Corna went to a mall before heading to a comedy-drama. Gary and Numerugon went to an Aquarium, and Leaf and Tyler spent their day at a library before fending off a gang. Now, our heroes return to the hotel, getting ready to move on to Route 15! The Journey continues, now!

Isaiah's POV:

I and Corna walked out of the massive theatre in a crowd of hundreds. Chronobbit chittered excitingly as she loved the play as much as I did.  Everyone was chattering and reciting jokes from the play. "I think that was one of the best things I've ever seen," I said, my heart still racing from the dramatic conclusion. Corna yawned and put her hands behind her neck. "You bet. John Bouvier should make a movie adaptation or something," She yawned. "You know, that's not a bad idea," I thought, thinking of the possibilities that could happen. "I thought it was cool having a Kubfu as the protagonist's partner," Corna said. "That's the actor's Pokemon in real life," I said. "What?"  Suddenly Corna's buttcheek buzzed as her Rotom phone called. She grunted and grabbed her phone. "Hey it's from Leaf," she explained. "Oh?" I asked. "Yeah. She and the others are heading to the hotel, they've brought snacks she said, 'knowing Isaiah you might wanna bring extras,'" She said. I snickered. "She's right," I chuckled, rubbing my hair. Corna frowned. "I would appreciate it if you didn't eat everything this time," she said. "Alright I won't eat everything," I laughed, winking at my girlfriend. Corna groaned and pulled me in for a kiss on the cheek. "Ready for Route 15?" She asked, pulling me in for a side hug. "More than ever," I laughed, rubbing Corna's hair as we walked to the sidewalk. I turned to Chronobbit. "Are you ready?" I asked. But I stopped as Chronobbit seemed a bit tired. "Aw. Are you tired? Return, have some rest," I said, bringing out Chronobbit's Pokeball and returning her. We saw the rows of leaving cars driving off into the city. As the vehicles began clearing, we saw several taxis pull up. "Taxi!" I said, raising my arm in the air. A Pink and White taxi promptly drove to us. "That's an odd one," Corna murmured, her head titling. I and Corna walked down to the car. Magically, the passenger side of the vehicle had its doors swing open, revealing a Mr. Mime with a top hat driving the vehicle. Corna and I stood there, jaws wide open. The Mime irritatedly pulled out his license, showing a full registered driver. He then showed us his Taxi license. Blinking, me and Corna walked to the backseat and sat down before buckling. "Mime?" Mr. Mime asked. Assuming he was asking where we were going, I replied, "To the Jiriachi Hotel,". The Mime nodded and began driving past the theatre and on our way to the hotel.

After 20 minutes of driving, Mr. Mime drove us to the Jirachi hotel. "Thank you," I said as I and Corna walked out. "Thanks," Corna told the mime as we crawled out of the car. Before I could take another step further, the taxi car honked, making me jump. I turned around to see the passenger window open with Mr. Mime's long arm reaching out. "Oh!" I said, reaching in my pocket and handing him around 60 Pokedollars. "Keep the change," I said. Mr. Mime nodded before putting his hand in the car and driving off. "Babe, cmon," Corna said. Jumping again, I rushed to my girlfriend. "Leaf texted me again. We're either watching 'Kung Fu Panda' or 'How to Train your Dragon'," Corna told me. "Tell them I wanna watch Kung Fu Panda," I told her. "Same. That movie's just so damn funny," Corna chuckled as she texted Leaf. After making our way inside the hotel, I walked toward the elevator. "Hey babe, I'm gonna use the restroom, gimme me a sec!" Corna told me. "Alright, see ya at the room," I said. Corna winked at me and headed towards the restrooms. "I'm one lucky guy," I chirped as I made my way to the elevator.
