Stormbreaker gave a shriek, voice cracking as he lunged towards Team Jade with his claws outstretched. His metal-covered talon swung heavily toward the side of Scorpion's head, but at the last second the golden dragon reared up and blocked his attack with his forearm. He grabbed the Icewing's elbow, flinging him away with a roar.
Stormbreaker bounced off the ground once then found his feet, digging his claws in the ground and sliding back a few tail-lengths before stopping completely. He flicked his tail, spitting dirt out of his mouth before showing all of his teeth in a sinister smile.
"Not bad, Sandwing. But you're gonna need a lot more than just your size to defeat me."
He suddenly clasped his gauntlets together with a loud ring, interlocking his claws. A blue bolt of electricity shot out as he separated his talons, straight towards Scorpion. There was no time to think before the bolt hit him straight in the chest. Scorpion dropped like a rag, unconscious.
Kraken and Swellow made eye contact, nodding to each other once before charging toward the Icewing. He shot another bolt of lightning toward the Seawing who blocked it with her sword. She winced.
It's... heavy. Her palms tingled slightly. No wonder it incapacitated Scorpion.
In unison the two swordstresses aimed a swing at Strombreaker who blocked them both with his gauntlets. In a flash, he grabbed Kraken's sword and twisted it, causing her to slam into the ground in front of him. He opened his mouth, about to coat her in ice.
Suddenly Swellow slammed into the white dragon backwards, proceeding to attack him relentlessly. He blocked every attack with his metal gloves, but he couldn't hold up forever as the Silkwing managed to give him a large slash against his chest that was almost impossible to see among his many scars. He closed one of his talons into a fist, opening them as a smaller, weaker bolt blasted out, stunning Swellow. Before he could injure her, Archipelago quite literally appeared above his wing, slashing it with his claws. He swished his tail in a deadly arc, but the Icewing caught it, spinning the Seawing around before throwing him out of the crater with a grunt.
"Haha," Stormbreaker panted slightly, "you're stubborn. But that's forgivable, I always enjoy a little bit of blood. Now, I recommend-"
He was cut off as Tundra dashed up to him, giving a few deep slashes in his side. The larger Icewing jumped back, proceeding to hit Tundra with a bolt that hit his chest, making him fall to the ground.
By this time, Kraken and Swellow had recovered. Scorpion was getting to his feet slowly, holding his head. With a nod, blue and purple charged up to Stormbreaker, switching places at the last moment. The Icewing ducked a swing from Kraken and blocked an attack from Swellow, turning into the offensive. He brought his claws together to create a new thunderbolt-
-until he was knocked to the side by a huge yellow blur. The movement sent him rolling until he hit the bottom of the obelisk.
Before he could gather his bearings, Scorpion was already on top of him, pinning down his gauntlets with his wings. He grabbed Stormbreaker's snout, slamming it against the hard stone repeatedly before letting him go and slamming punch after bone-crushing punch at his head. The white dragon started choking on his own blood, and Scorpion thought the fight was over before the blood was suddenly on his face, blinding him.
Out of reflex, he raised a talon to wipe his eyes. The first thing he saw was the inside of Stormbreaker's mouth, then his teeth, dripping with blue blood. Scorpion blinked once before getting hit with a wave of ice breath. He roared in pain, grabbing his face and freeing Stormbreaker, swinging his tail downward to hit him. The Icewing only smirked, catching it with his back talons and twisting it painfully. Scorpion roared louder and swiped at the ground blindly until Stormbreaker slipped out of reach. The white dragon reared up onto his hind feet, talons raised.
