There was mud stuck on Eve's claws.

Annoyed, she scrubbed them with a clump of dry reeds that seemingly grew everywhere, ignoring the frightened glances coming from her subordinates. They knew better than to bother her when she was angry. But why was she upset, when she had completed the mission? She growled. I've taken the Key from that foolish Princess. But for that I've discarded my pride. That dragonet defeated me.

She found a secluded area out of sight of the main camp, which proved a difficult task in a place like the Mud Kingdom. She took a glowing red amulet on a gold chain off her neck, setting it on the wet ground before backing away. Immediately it burst into flames, and Eve fought the urge to take another step back.

The fire grew larger, and inside the silhouette of a hooded dragon could be seen. Eve bowed down low, noticing with slight annoyance that mud once again caked her talons.

"Report," the dragon said. Eve suppressed a small shiver.

"My master, I have the key."

The Seawing thought she could see a hint of a smile on her superior's face. "Excellent work, Eve. Is there any clue as to where the next one could be?"

"There is a message inscribed on the key," Eve said. When the other dragon didn't respond, she continued. "Search through the land far to the west and find the key buried deep in the earth."

"Pantala," The dragon concluded. "Head towards Pantala and meet with the monarch. Shadow and his dragons will assist you there." "Yes, my master."

The dragon rose from her seat."Soon. Soon the world will be at our mercy."
