Chapter 2

“This is where you will be staying, now make sure to write your name and blood type on the body bag placed on each of your beds it is quite necessary.” Romy’s face went from calm and collected to frightened. Body bags? I’m going to die doing this? Shit Eggsy I regret my decision.

“That will be all everyone I will check in with you in a few hours.” Merlin left the area in which Romy and the rest of the group would be staying, Romy walked over to her assigned bedding and picked up the body bag.

“I’m in a bit of a pickle.”

“How is that?” The boy said next to her.

“Well you see, the thing is I don’t actually know my blood type.”

“Oh well I’m sure you won’t need the body bag no one’s going to actually die it’s probably just to scare us.” He shrugged his shoulders.

“I’m Romy by the way.” She offered her hand for him to shake.

“I’m Jake.” Jake flashed a smile and shook her hand.

“Hey I know you!” An overenthusiastic girl had said that had overheard their conversation.

“You’re Romy Elise! The girl who was supposed to go to the Olympics but was in a car crash and lost her parents as well as majority of her hearing.”

“Why thank you stranger for reminding me that my dreams were crushed, my parents died and that I am now disabled. Thank you oh so much.” Romy said quite sarcastically to her.

“You’re welcome.” The girl smiled bitch like and turned around and walked away, Romy fake laughed and flipped the finger at her returning to unpacking her things.

“Don’t worry about her, she’s just daddy’s little girl, gets everything she wants.”

“I’ll just avoid her.” Romy says more to herself than Jake.

“Um if you don’t mind me asking, but I would like to know how your hearing aid works?”

“Aren’t all spies supposed to be intelligent?”

“Well I am not really academic smart.” Jake says scratching the back of his head.

“Fair enough, well it just amplifies noise basically. But doctor’s say I’m going to need a cochlea implant soon enough so I’m on the waiting list for that.”

“That must suck!”

“Not really actually, it helps me listen in on conversations and stuff which I imagine is great for being a spy.” Jake had a little chuckle to himself.
