Hahahaha fuck meeeeee. Guys holy shit it's been like over two years. I'm so sorry *cries for days*. I just had no idea what I wanted to do with this story. I honestly just agh. But, I've been writing a couple of things lately and suddenly inspiration had come for me, a way to finish the story and I'm just so happy that I've come up with an ending. This will be the last chapter, however there may or may not be an epilogue to maybe answer some of the questions you might end up having after this...

Anyway I hope ya'll enjoy and I'm so sorry it took me so long.

Chapter 8

Romy was lying in bed, Eggsy by her side. It was hard for her to sleep, she'd been up every night for the past few weeks only having 3-4 hours of sleep on the good nights. She couldn't stop thinking about every person she killed the night she rescued Eggsy and Jake. The moments replayed in her head, always on repeat. She felt guilty having those deaths resting on her shoulders. She was responsible for the length of someone else's life, responsible for a daughter losing her dad or a husband losing their wife. Eggsy didn't know Romy felt this way but each night he only slept as much as she did. Romy was unaware that she kept Eggsy awake. Eggsy stayed awake always worried about why Romy couldn't get to sleep. Tonight Eggsy decided to do something about it, he pulled her closer into his chest and whispered in her ear, "Why haven't you been sleeping?" Romy couldn't help but flinch surprised to hear what she thought was a sleeping man, speak.

"Don't worry about me, go back to sleep." She gave him a kiss and closed her eyes pretending to fall asleep.

"Romy, I know you're not sleeping. Tell me what's going on in that beautiful mind of yours." Eggsy caressed little circles on her forehead trying to soothe her.

"I can't stop replaying that day. Well, more I can't stop reliving the moments of every person I killed. I'm responsible for the shortening of their lives, responsible for the sadness their loved ones feel."

"I was like that at first, I'd love to say it get's easier killing people and not caring about taking their life, but it doesn't. However, it does get easier sleeping at night, it get's easier at blocking out those memories. You just have to justify that why you did it was for the greater good of this world. Don't worry, I want you to share your burdens with me, so you don't have to live with them all by yourself. You have me to share the weight with now. You're not alone anymore, I promise."

"Thank you, Eggsy, but for at least tonight I can't sleep."

"I love you, so much Romy."

"I love you too Eggsy."

"Another day at the job for Kings, what mission do you have for us today, Merlin?" Eggsy smirked sitting down on the couch pulling Romy into his side.

"I have bad news for the two of you..."

"What do you mean? What's going on?" Romy asked, worried.

"I'm afraid that the Board have made a terrible decision, and I have the burden of telling you both. This is something the Kingsman have never had to deal with before, a couple. They believe the risk of you two being together is too high and that you need to be separated. Not just split and continue working, but one of you would need to leave the service and have your memories of the other wiped."
