Epilogue

Romy, rose out of the water and lifted her goggles from her eyes. It had been 4 months since Romy had left the Kingsman and forgotten everything, not that she knew that. Her memories were replaced with her daily routine, get up, got to work, go home and go to bed. When Romy returned to her normal life, her memories were gone but her feelings they were still there. Everyday she searched for what her feelings meant. Why was she so sad and in love? Why did she feel so much passion? Her feelings drove her to reignite her passion for swimming. She had been doing intense training but wasn't anywhere near ready to be competing again, she was getting there though. She felt so happy and felt like she had a purpose in life again. Although, she could still feel that swimming wasn't the reason for her passion, it was something else, something on the tip of her tongue.

She pulled herself up and out of the water and sits on the bench drying her face with a towel. Romy checks her phone and notices a new message, from her boss.

Need you to start early tonight please! Kevin called in sick, start at 4??

Romy checked the time, 2pm she thought to herself. She quickly replied to him agreeing, knowing she could use the extra money. Paying for swim coaching isn't exactly cheap. Quickly she head to the showers to wash off the smell of chlorine.

Eggsy watched her from afar, as he did for the past four months. He was waiting, waiting for the right time to make his new first impression, but also waiting for the Kingsman to stop watching her, making sure she was safe, but mainly making sure Eggsy didn't keep in contact with her. Today was the last day the Kingsman would watch her every move of every minute of every day. Soon they will just be doing weekly check ups and those would turn to monthly. Eggsy knew today was his day, his day to meet her again. He was full of nerves, he wanted things to go back to normal, but he knew that was impossible.

It was 6pm and Eggsy was sitting in a booth at the pub, watching Romy behind the bar. He'd been to nervous to say anything to her and always looking away when she turned towards him.

Romy looked towards a man in a suit sitting by his lonesome in a corner booth, he hadn't ordered anything of any of the waitresses which she deemed weird. Something was pulling her towards him. "Hey Toni, get behind the bar, do you mind if I wait a couple tables?" Toni threw Romy her apron. "Go for it, prefer making drinks anyway."

Eggsy looked up, only to find Romy wasn't behind the bar anymore but she was walking towards him. "Hey sweetie, were you after anything?" Romy wasn't sure where that came from, never has she called the customers 'sweetie'.

"Um yeah, I'll have a beer."

"You're going to have to be more specific than that, we've got quite a few different ones." Eggsy chuckled, remembering all the times Romy had sassed him.

"I'll take a Corona, Romy."

"How did you know my—" Eggsy cut her off, "Your name badge." Suddenly Romy had this overwhelming sensation of de ja vu.

"Do I know you by any chance?" Eggsy smirked, they were almost repeating the first conversation they ever had.

"I do come here quite often yes." Romy had a sense of feeling, a feeling like she knew him, like he meant so much to her. It overwhelmed her and she couldn't understand why.

"I finish at 11, wait for me?" Eggsy nodded, he was quite surprised he didn't have to convince her much. This told him that maybe she could remember him. Romy returned to the bar.

"So, what's his name then?" Toni asks smirking.

"I um, don't actually know, but he's going to wait for me to finish."

"He's quite handsome isn't he, you can tell he's got a nice job too ey, just look at that suit."

Romy's shift had come to an end and so she sat with Eggsy, they talked and talked and talked right until closing. Eggsy continued to walk Romy home. He looked up at her apartment sighing. This wasn't her home he thought to himself, we have a home together. It's felt so empty since she's left.

"What you thinking about?" Romy asks, Eggsy's eyes flickered, he stares into hers.

"Oh um nothing, I guess, I'll best be going now."

"But, I don't even know your name yet?" Romy grabbed his arm as he was about to leave. Eggsy stared into her eyes, and then down at her lips. Fuck it. He leans in and he kisses her. Romy is taken aback at first but relaxes into the kiss. She finds her hands in his hair while's his hold tight and pulls her close to him. Romy's feelings of love had finally found what it had been missing, the man she had those feelings for.

With a sharp intake of breath Romy pulls away. Everything suddenly comes flooding back and she almost falls over. With a gasp she manages to get one word out.

"Eggsy?"
