we went out, avoided the coffee shop and went to the starbucks up the road instead. i thought it'd be best to avoid taylor for now and let her talk to me when she's ready. too bad she'll be in the crowd tonight, she already got her hands on tickets. if we're lucky they won't show up.

bo noticed i was lost in my thoughts "so, you ready for tonight?" i smiled, this was going to be one of the biggest crowds i've performed for. it was terrifying but exhilarating at the same time. i was ready for this.

"yeah! i'm really excited." i said as we entered the park.

"i'm glad! you're gonna love it!" bo wrapped his arm around my shoulder. taylor was wrong. bo's in my life because i need him and i'm sure he needs me just as much. if it's meant to be he'll stay, and if it's not then it's not and that's fine too.

we sat on the bench, i sighed remembering the events of last night. did she really mean what she said? tears began to fall from my eyes, it wasn't a full cry. just a few tears over someone who chose her boyfriend of a week and a half over her friend of two years.

bo noticed and pulled me closer to him.

"i'm sorry i brought you into this. you shouldn't have to take care of me like this." a few more tears fell from my eyes.

"you're right. i want to." he smiled softly. he makes me feel safe, i love him more than anything.

"thanks bo," i smiled "i love you."
