It feels like I'm drowning..

So deep it makes me nervous...

I walked out of the office face down putting my other earphone in my ear walking out the office
Quickly looking down at my time table while looking up every so often to see my surroundings 
I paused for a second "fuck I've got biology " i lifted my bag round to one shoulder placing my time table
In my bag so my dumbass didn't loose it.
While walking up to the science department taking in my surroundings with in the deep breaths i was making.
I walked in and took a seat at the back of the classroom bemuse i didn't know anyone which was okay until..
"Okay everyone settle down" the professor said with a blunt tone.
I didn't catch his name so I hope he'll say his name at some point.
The classroom was quiet, too quiet it was supremely uncomfortable for my liking
"Okay thats over with. My name is mr escalante, we have a new student joining us today, "
My eyes widened.

"Jasmine come up to the front and introduce your self please" he said with a gentle tone   
I slowly watch where I walk minding the bags on the floor.
I was in the front of the classroom, my eyes wondered everywhere before lying on a man with
Black and blonde dreadlocks.
I blinked back into reality
"Hey.. my name is jasmine Davis, I'm 17 from Florida, I used to do dance I suppose, there isn't much to me
I guess"-  I spoke with slight confidence.
"Nice to meet you Jasmine, please take your seat" mr escalante commented.
I walked back to my seat
"Alright you've got a sheet on the human body to complete on your own you can work with others
For help completing it if you wish to do so" saying while walking around passing the sheet out
He gave me my sheet
"It's okay if you don't get everything right today because it's your first day at this school ever, do what you know
And I'll grade you what I can" he whispered to me.
"thank you. I'm pretty good for what I remember on this " I mumbled.
He smiles.
I put my head down completing the sheet.
" this is easy " I mumbled.
My Phone vibrated

I have half a day today which is good I suppose.
The bell rang for the end of science.
"Double math, agh that's cool I guess " I mumbled walking out of the science department
I was tapped on my shoulder half way out of the department
I turned around.
The man with black and blonde dreads
" do we have classes together today? You look like you need a friend " he mumbled.
I took a second to take in what just happened.
"Erm, yeah , yeah I do.. I suppose "- I  mumbled.
"Great" he chuckled.
Since I'm short he put his arm around me.
I felt safe. For once.  It made me nervous...
