Chapter 13

Y/N POV

The stadium is filled with people. There could be hundreds of them. All sorts of colours from their clothes. 

"And the stars of the show. The ones who survived a real life villain attack. CLASS 1A!" I heard Present Mic yell into his microphone. Honestly I don't think he needs one. He's loud enough as it is. My eyes began to hurt from all the bright colours. 'I was not designed for the light but oh well.' I thought in my head as we walked into the stadium. There was a platform in the middle. The Pro hero, Midnight, was standing on it, ready to address everyone.

"I don't think that hero costume is suitable for public." Commented Kirishima

"That's an R-rated hero for you." Kaminari said as well.

"Is it okay for her to be at a high school even though she's R-rated?" Tokoyami asked.

"Hello Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to this year's UA Sports Festival. Representing Class 1A is Bakugo Katsuki."

Everyone in my class was surprised and concerned. I mean he did come first in the entrance exam but he's got a seriously cocky attitude. 'I can't wait to knock that smirk off his face. He should be out in his place.' I smirked a little as I watched him walk up the platform.

"All I wanna say is... I'm gonna win." Everyone started freaking out and booing. He walked down while everyone was making comments.

"Now, here is the fateful first game." Midnight announced as slot machine runs. It landed on Obstacle race. 'Oh? I wonder how this is going to go. I'm pretty sure there are gonna be some interesting obstacles. If not I'm going to be very disappointed.' I thought as we all got ready for the race.

'Knowing Todoroki, he'll try freeze everyone in one place so my best move is to jump. Bakugo would use his explosions as a means of flying. You know what? I'll just trust my training.' I decided while I waited for Midnight to signal that it's time to go. 

"Start!"

As expected Todoroki froze the floor so I jumped and ran on the wall. I saw that there were robots appearing so I did a giant leap and landed on one of the robot's shoulder. From there I jumped to another and eventually got to the ground and ran. The next obstacle was a deep whole with rocks attached to strings that allows others to cross. 'I honestly wonder how they do all of these things.' I easily made it over and continued to run. I didn't notice that I was already by the mine field. I smirked to myself as I expertly crossed it and looked back. The others were way behind. I'm pretty sure most people couldn't see me due to my speed. I suddenly felt that there was a trap to coming first so I just waited by the line until some passes me. I watched and Izu, Todoroki and Bakugo fought to get first. The second after Izu crossed the finish line, I crossed it as well, putting me in second place.

I walked to Midoriya, "Congrats Izu. You made it first place." I slapped his back.

"Heh. Thanks. But you could've been first. Why didn't you cross?" He asked.

"I had a sudden feeling that being first isn't a good thing." I shuddered. "Anyways you were pretty smart using the metal plate as a means to get ahead. I'm proud of you."

"Yeah I didn't want to use my quirk yet so I came up with that." He said, a little blush on his face. I smiled at him.

"Only the first 42 contestants will be able to participate in the next event which will be..." The slots machine began running again and chose, "Calvary Battle. You are allowed to make teams of 2-4 people. One person on that team will be the rider and will be wearing a headband that has the total of points. Points are determined by your place in the obstacle course. number 42 would be 5 points. 41 would be 10 points and so on. The person in first place would have 10 million points."

Everyone turned to face Izu with eyes of a predator. He looks at me and i shrugged my shoulders. "Sorry Izu. As much as I want to help you, you gotta do things on your own sometimes. Think of this as some part of your training. How well you can distract others." I gave him a cheeky smile. He started to pout but I was already looking for my own team. I looked around and saw the Aizawa look alike.

"Yo. Wanna be part of my team?" I asked him.

"Well what can you do?" He inquired.

"Well I can make us impossible to track and invisible so when everyone is focused on Midoriya, we can steal their headbands." I explained to him as a suggested plan.

"Cool we can do that. Now we gotta find others just in case." He looks around and sees Ojiro and started to walk to him. 

"Wait what is your quirk?" I asked as I followed him. He looked back at me. 

"You'll see." He asked Ojiro and suddenly his face went blank. 'Brainwashing. Very interesting. He could've made it into the hero course if it wasn't for the entrance exams being robots. Now I'm mad at how this school works.' I huffed as we formed our team. Shinso wanted to be the rider which I didn't have a problem with. When everyone has finished making their teams, Midnight started the game. I immediately used my nen, making us invisible. While everyone went after Izu, we started taking headbands from other teams. Everyone struggled to figure out where their head bands went. 

3rd POV

Midoriya looked around the arena, trying to see where Y/n went. She's nowhere. 'Dammit she must have turned her team invisible. This going to be difficult. But knowing her she's going to take out the smaller teams because they're more focus on me. So we just going to have to dodge everyone else.' He thought as he focused on the other teams.

In the booth, Aizawa and Present Mic were watching and making the usual comments. "Aizawa there's a group that's missing." 

"Ah. It's Zoldyck's group. We have yet to know her quirk since she hasn't told us. But it seems she can do many things with it. She can be very dangerous if she switches sides." He stated.

All Might watched from the audience. 'From what I have experienced during the exercise, Y/n has a knack for stealth. She knows what she is doing.' He thought as he continued to watch the cavalry battles. 

Y/n POV

I heard the buzzer and switched off my nen. We got a lot of headbands. It was pretty easy if you ask me. being able to snatch it while you're invisible. Anyways they announced which teams are continuing. Team Todoroki came first, our tem came second, Team Bakugo came third and Izu's team came fourth. Now we have lunch to help us energize for the last event which is individual battles. 'I wonder who I'm going against. I really want to go against Bakugo just so I can knock down his ego.' I thought, 'He'll probably reach the finals so that's where I have to get. Not that hard.' 

I looked at Bakugo and smirked. 'You'll be put in your place. Just you wait'
