The Assassin (BNHA x Zoldyck Reader)

Chapter 17

I arrived at (random agency) (A/n: I'm way too lazy to think of names right now so use your brilliant imaginations) where (random hero) was waiting for me outside.

"Ah you must be N/n. Welcome to my agency." They gave me a smile so bright that I had to squint a little. 'They just have some very vibrant energy. It hurts my eyes.'

" Yes. That's me. Thank you for having me." I confirmed while bowing slightly. 'Izu says this is how you show respect so might as well.' I thought as I straightened back up.

"Come on. Let me show you around." They gestured their hand for me to follow them. I complied quickly.  We walked into various different rooms. First one was the lobby, obviously. Second one was the training room. I observed the various weapons and noted them down in my head to remember to practice with them later. Third room was the kitchen, my favourite room, where they said that I'm allowed to take anything I desire. 'They gave me way too much power with this room.' I chuckled slightly at my thought.

I was on patrol with (Random hero) when I felt a vibration in my pocket. I checked my phone because it gave me a sudden notification. I saw Izu just sent me a location. I knew exactly what's happening and quickly abandoned my mentor and ran straight to the location Izuku sent. When I arrived the scene was quite interesting. A hero was slumped against the wall, Iida was lying on the floor injured and Todoroki and Izu seemed to be frozen in place. I immediately jumped in front of them.

I sighed, "How do you always get yourself get into these situations Deku? Anyways inform me on what's happening."

"I'm sorry. This is the hero killer, Stain. Don't let him cut you and lick your blood. He paralyses you temporarily with his quirk." I nodded at his words, taking in the needed information.

"Ah I see. The famous vigilante assassin, Stain. From one assassin to another, I must say I'm pretty impressed by your reputation. Managing to kill so many heroes and still get away with it. That's pretty amazing. " I spoke as I pulled out two katanas from their sheaths on my back. I used ken to cover myself in invisible armour. "However you broke the first rule of being an assassin." In a flash I was behind him, both of my katanas in position to strike, "Never kill in a place where you'll get caught." I swung my blades but he jumped out the way.

"Now this is interesting. You're not a hero nor are you a villain. Are you a vigilante like me perhaps?" He asked me with his swords in hand.

"No of course not. As much as people want me to be a hero or be a villain due  my power, I made a promise that I tend to keep. Also the thrill of encountering these sort situations is really enjoyable." A smug smile appeared on my face, "Shall we see who's the better assassin, Stain?"

A smirk appeared on his face, "To the death I presume?"

"Of course. That's how we roll."

'Izu. I promised to protect you even if it costs my life. But don't worry about me, I don't plan on dying anytime soon.' I thought

And with that we engaged in battle.

Izuku's POV

I stood frozen, watching this battle happen where I can't do anything to help in any way. 'Assassin. Did she say she was an assassin? That would explain a lot actually. Her stealth skills, her training, immunity to poisons, why she doesn't like talking about her family. She even went up against All Might and won. Stain has killed people so does that mean she has as well. Never mind that. She's fighting Stain by herself. He's got years experience while she's still young. Will she come out of this unscathed? Will she be able to win? Y/n was confident when she challenged him so maybe she's got some plan. Please n/n be careful.' My mind was racing with all kinds of thoughts.

"Midoriya!" I heard Todoroki yell out my name. I looked at him to see a serious face.

"Is it true?" He asked. I looked at him, confused, "Is what she's saying about being an assassin true?"

I slowly nodded my head, "I'm not sure. She's never mentioned this to me." I replied as I looked back at the battle. Swords clashing, only the moonlight and the single street lamp illuminating the area. I looked at Y/n's face. She had a serious expression but it's not the kind where you have to focus and calculate in a fight. It looked more like she was thinking. While I watched the battle, the effects of Stain's quirk started to wear off.

'Why is mine wearing off sooner than Iida? He was struck first. Unless'

"His quirk depends on blood type. Certain blood types last longer than others." I said outloud.

Y/n POV

"You're a clever one, aren't you?" Stain looked at Izu as he responded. I took this chance to use my new to become invisible.

"Bold move to make when you're in a fight" I commented. "Especially when you're up against someone like me."

He turned back towards me or where I was. I started messing around with him. I hit him in many places. His legs, sides and sometimes his face. I didn't bother hitting him too hard because then the fight would end too soon and I'm enjoying myself a little too much. A smile appeared on my face. 'I'm so glad I'm invisible cause I don't want Izu to see me like this.'

When Izu finally was free, Stain decided to go after him. I was not going to let that happen. I revealed myself so Izu doesn't accidentally him me when he tries to land a blow. However due to my only thought being is to protect Izu, I didn't realise how closer Stain's blade was to me and I was cut slightly. Unfortunately enough for some blood to get on the blade. I jumped near the other hero before Stain licked up my blood so he doesn't get to me as easily.

Soon after both Todoroki and Iida was free and all three of them landed the final blow. Only then did the other heroes show up. 'Pretty damn useless if you ask me' I thought as I helped the helpless hero to the newly arrived ones.

While we were discussing what's gonna happen next and what we'll tell the media, two nomus appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Izu and I. Izu and everyone else was freaking out while I was just calm, knowing that I'll be back soon if they can't get me now.

Stain jumped into the air and killed the one that was carrying Izu.

"Y/n!" Izu shouted as I continued to be kidnapped.

"Don't worry about me! I'll see you soon! Trust me!" I yelled back and I disappeared out of sight.
