WANDAS HOUSE, FIELD
SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2021
SENIOR YEAR

Today was the day. The opening game. Lucky for the boys, they had all made cuts. Bucky was the Wide Receiver starter, Steve, the Quarterback, Sam was the Running Back, and Tony was the Tight End.

Maria, Wanda, and Natasha were all at Wandas house, preparing for the game. Natasha wore one of Steves old jerseys, sweatpants, and air forces. Wanda was wearing a blue and yellow shirt for the colors of their highschool, leggings, and yellow socks with crocs. Maria on the other hand, threw on a hoodie and sweatpants over her cheer uniform, and with her friends nagging getting to the point where she couldn't stand it, she put on vans instead of slides. On the way, they were going to pick up Pepper, Pietro was already there with Clint.

They grabbed their bags, and raced to Natashas black jeep, which was once her fathers. Maria and Wanda fought for shotgun, that was, until Wanda made her look, and hopped in shotgun.

"Ha. Loser. Too slow." She said to Maria who was pouting in the back seat, a devilish grin forming on her face.

"That's probably what you say to Bucky." Wanda spit out her water all over the dashboard, and turned to the girl, flicking her off.

"Whats up with you and Bucky anyway, Wanda?" Natasha said, pulling out of the driveway and turning to the main road to go to Peppers house.

"Well.. I don't exactly know. I mean we both like each other, we went on our date and it was awesome, but he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet. I hope he does tonight." The girls started teasing Wanda about her huge crush on Bucky, although she was blushing the whole time, it wasn't because she was embarrassed, it was because she was thinking about her and Bucky dating.

"Hiya Ladies!" Pepper hopped into the car, wearing a shield prep hoodie, and black shorts with slides. They nearly got a ticket, considering Natasha was going really fast. When they arrived, they handed their tickets in at the front, and went to their seats, waving bye to Maria who walked into the locker room to get her makeup done. They sat in the first row, on the right side of the bleachers. Almost the whole school would he watching the game. The one thing nobody was thrilled about, Sharon. Sharon Carter was the captain of the Cheer team, a huge brat, and someone who desperately tried to flirt with every man she sees.

The announcer began talking, and the players came out onto the field. Steve was first, then Tony, both doing a weird little dancey things. Sam and Bucky ran out, except Bucky was on Sams back which was.. interesting. Once they were on the field, the other team came out. Before the game started, Natasha saw Sharon walk over and kiss Steves cheek, making her furious. Sharon had literally no respect for anyone, and just because she was popular, thinks she can do whatever she wants. Soon after, Steve came over and jumped on the ledge of the bleachers to give Natasha a quick kiss, and Wanda took a picture for instagram, of course.

"Ugh you two make up my couple goals." Wanda was watching as Natasha whispered stuff in her boyfriends ears, making him laugh.

"Bucky may or may not have something planned for you tonight." And with that, Steve jumped down, leaving Wanda with her jaw wide open. Natasha turned to her and laughed at the girl. They sat back down, and looked onto the field. Sam was talking with Maria, which Pepper kept "aw'ing" at, not knowing they had been secretly dating.

The game officially started, and the other team had the ball. On their first possession,
they had scored, the second possession, they scored, and the third possession, they scored. The score was 19-0, and they were in the 3rd quarter with 2 minutes left.
