Laughter was stifled behind your hand as yet another potential suitor approached Daenerys. You'd think they would have caught on by now. She wasn't interested. They should move on. Except when she turned them down, they tended to turn to you, only to be rejected yet again. Clearly those men either wouldn't or couldn't see what was right in front of them.

Daenerys rolled her eyes and smiled at you, prompting you to actually let out the laugh you'd been holding in. Jorah looked at you in amusement. He had also been one of the men who had tried with Daenerys at one point, but he wasn't as oblivious as the others. He realized fairly early on that you and Daenerys were lovers. While he'd been a little hurt, he'd do anything to see Daenerys happy. So he also found it amusing that suitors kept trying. You weren't exactly hiding your feelings after all.

"Do they just not understand when to give up?" you asked him and he shook his head fondly. "Clearly not. Perhaps you should rescue our queen?" You looked back to Daenerys. She was talking to yet another young man, but this time she wore a frown on her face. That had you on edge. Normally the two of you just laughed it off, but she was clearly upset this time.

You rose as gracefully as you could and made your way over to Daenerys' seat. She smiled up at you before the frown returned to her face. You stood beside her chair and reached down to take her hand. The man in front of you was still talking. You didn't even know what about. Just that he was annoying Daenerys. Without saying a word, you lifted Daenerys' hand up to your lips, pressing a kiss to the back of it.

For a moment, the man faltered, but then continued. You felt yourself growing irritated. He clearly wasn't getting it and Daenerys was just trying to enjoy one hassle-free meal. You motioned for Missandei to rise from her seat so you could sit down. Missandei knew exactly what you were doing so she got up and moved to talk to Grey Worm.

You scooted the now empty chair closer to Daenerys, trying to be as close to her as possible. Still, the wanna-be suitor carried on. Daenerys simply sat there stoically, occasionally making comments about what he'd said. Meanwhile, you held her hand, ran your fingers through the ends of her hair, anything to subtly hint to this man that he was barking up the wrong tree.

After about ten more minutes, he still wasn't getting it. It didn't seem to matter what you did. He just kept on. Daenerys kept trying to let him down gently, but he grew more persistent until you finally couldn't take it any longer. "Oh for fu-You are clueless!" Without giving him a chance to reply you turned Daenerys' face toward you and planted a kiss right on her lips.

You felt Daenerys smile before you pulled away. The suitor was staring at you both in complete shock and disbelief. Daenerys cleared her throat with a soft chuckle. "As you can see, and as I have been attempting to tell you, I am not interested in your proposal nor the proposals of any other suitor that came before you. Now, if you'll please excuse me." She stood and gave you a look, indicating that you should follow her. With a smug look, you did so.

As soon as you were alone, Daenerys turned to you with a smirk. "Did you accomplish what you set out to?" she asked. The was a hit of amusement in her voice. You beamed at her and gave a little shrug. "Perhaps. I got a kiss out of it at least." She laughed and shook her head.

"I suppose there's no sense in keeping our relationship even a little bit quiet now." You arched a brow. "W-Were we trying to?" That was news to you. Apparently the look on your face was funny though because both of you broke down in a fit of giggles.

"No. No we weren't. And now we won't have to." You drew close to her and wrapped your arms around her waist. "Do you want to go back to dinner?" She shook her head before drawing you in for another kiss. "I'd rather not. I'd rather spend time alone with you. Perhaps in bed?" You winked and laughed. "Little minx." She blushed and told you that wasn't what she meant, but she wasn't against it. "Cuddle?" she asked. With a smile, you stepped back, took her hand, and lead her to her bed.
