Harry chose not to speak on their ride home. He spent all his time thinking about how to get her back. He also thought about the loss of someone he looked up to for so long, wondering why he didn't give them a heads up about Y/N's relatives.

Hermione and Ron talked about their plans on how they'd manage to leave home to help Harry on his quest. They noticed Harry's mood but tried to respect him by not asking any questions.

Eventually, Harry exited the compartment, walking to the back of the train just to get some steps in. He heard laughter as he made his way back there. Laughter that he was very familiar with.

He turned his head, meeting eyes with his arch nemesis. And he was sitting with the person Harry should've been sitting with. Apparently everything went full circle. So here he is again, seeing her laugh with the same person, in the same spot as the start of third year.

He has to win her over.. again.
