THIRD PERSON
"I've never been this far into the castle before." Ginny announced with a slight chuckle, admiring Y/N's confidence as she kept a straight face.

"It's not that exciting." Y/N glanced over at Ginny with a softened expression, catching a glimpse of all of her adorable freckles.

Ginny went quiet for a second before facing forward, noticing the long hallway ahead and preparing to start asking questions.

"So.." She nodded, "No boyfriend, huh?"

"Nope." Y/N stated without hesitation.

"Or.. girlfriend?" Ginny added, her voice pretty low, almost as if she were nervous.

"Don't have that either." Y/N laughed under her breath at Ginny's questions.

"Quite shocking." Ginny nodded.

"How come?" Y/N twisted her brows in curiosity.

"Oh, I just thought since.. you're you.." Ginny motioned to Y/N, "I never thought you'd be single a day in your life." Ginny grinned.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Y/N tittered with lowered brows.

"It is." Ginny confirmed, "You're really hot."

"Thanks, Ginevra." Y/N teased.

"Like really hot." Ginny repeated.

"Thanks." Y/N awkwardly stated again.

"Like reeaally hot- like I don't know why you chose Harry kind of hot." Ginny kept going, wanting to sound comprehensive.

"I've got it," Y/N smiled and held Ginny's shoulder, "Thank you, princess." Y/N naturally caressed her bicep.

Ginny stood with her face a bit pink.

Y/N squinted, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, fine." Ginny shook it off.

She continued walking alongside Y/N but after a few seconds she stopped, resulting in Y/N to turn around and face her.

"Sorry," Ginny apologized for the halt in her steps, "There's something you should know. Maybe.. just in case something goes downhill."

"What's that?" Y/N stepped in front of her and crossed her arms.

Ginny began to mess with her nails, "Do you remember fourth year when Hermione and I would always tease you about all of the guys that liked you?"

"Yeah?.." Y/N nodded, quite unsure of where the conversation was headed.

"Or when I found you and Harry in his bed in the boys' dorm, or that time you two slept on the couch at the Burrow and I caught you and him holding hands the next morning?" Ginny went on with her questions.

"Yes, and what about those times?" Y/N unfolded her arms to seem less intimidating. Instead she shoved her hands in her back pockets.

"I was jealous." Ginny shrugged without making eye contact. She looked up and stopped messing with her hands for a second, "I didn't want Harry to like you."

Y/N frowned, "That's understandable Ginny. It's normal for you to have had a crush-"

"It's not quite gone." Ginny confessed with a quick glance away.

"Oh.." Y/N sent her a look of shock, "Well, he's all yours." She laughed in assurance.

Ginny locked eyes with her.

"That's not what I meant." She replied with a small scoff, "When I was jealous I wasn't jealous of you.."

Then it got quiet as Y/N realized.
