Kai'sa: "Google, turn on night mode."

The room went dark and only the light of the tv screen was present.

Me: "Woah that's a new one."

She shifted closer to me

Me: "That's that rich people shit."

Kai'sa: "I s-suppose."

I felt the air got noticeably colder. Soon after I hear two pairs of footsteps approaching.

Akali: "Ooh! A movie!"

Akali ran over to the couch but instead of sitting on the couch like a normal person, she decided my lap was a better seat. Someone else sat next to me, I guessed it was ahri from the fluff I felt.

Ahri: "What movie is it?"

Me: "Is no one going to acknowledge that akali just sat on my lap."

Kai'sa: "It's called predestination."

Me: "Am I being ignored?"

Ahri: "Ooh I heard this one was good."

Whatever

Akali sat back, her head pressed gently against my neck.

Well I may as well use my new found power over ahri.

I place my hand on top of ahri's head. I could feel her shift to face me. I paid it no mind, I move my hand behind her ear and gently scratched. As the movie went on everyone was compiling on me. Ahri was cuddling at my left, completely asleep.

Kai'sa was hugging my arm and was also asleep. And akali fell asleep five minutes into the movie. She was curled into a ball on my lap while hugging my neck.

Well fuck that didn't work

I was back at the void house but someone was missing.

I quickly explored the house and tried to find lita. A sinking feeling in my chest welled up as I time went on.

Me: "Lita!"

I continued to search around but didn't find her.

Me: "Lita!"

I rechecked all of the rooms as I check the bedroom again I get picked up.

???: "Oh my, I didn't expect you this soon."

I quickly realized it was lita, she placed me down on the bed.

Lita: "Is there something you want to talk about?"

She ran her hand through my hair. I stayed quiet for a few moments.

Me: "Will ma be okay?"

She gently stroked my hair

Lita: "I don't know, I can't see whether a person dies or lives."

I closed my eyes

Lita: "But I wouldn't worry to much if I had to guess she will live."

She kissed my forehead

Lita: "Is that all?"

I nodded

Lita: "I'll see you when you sleep next my favorite little human."

I woke up just as the credits were rolling. The oven was done baking the cookies. I knew I would have to wake everyone up to get them.

Luckily everyone woke up before I had to. Everyone of course except for akali. I just ended up picking her and carrying her along with me to the kitchen.
