Chapter 48

I nervously stare on as a deafening silence filled evelynn's bedroom. I gulp and start panicking. At least I was until akali started talking.

Akali: "Oh you two finally made up, good."

Evelynn: "I suppose you could say we 'made up'~"

Akali yawned and got into bed with us.

This couldn't get more awkward

She snuggled up closer behind me and placed on of her legs between my own as she wrapped one arm under my left arm and her other arm under my right.

I tossed a bit of the blanket on her and she nuzzled my neck as a thank you. But that wasn't what concerned me. What concerned me were the two other girls just staring on.

With no other Ideas left I said the first think that came to my mind.

Me: "You want in?"

I lifted the blanket a bit and invited then in. Ahri took the opportunity and quickly cuddled behind evelynn.

Evelynn: "Kai'sa dear come here."

She nervously walked over and got in on akali's side. I couldn't help but feel the tension was still there. I uncomfortably stayed up as I heard everyone else had already fallen asleep.

I gazed down at evelynn's face, she looked peaceful. I hugged her a little closer. Her forehead pressed lightly against my chin.

We're even now but I'm sure as hell not even with everyone else.

I closed my eyes and finally ended up sleeping.

My eyes lazily open and I'm met with evelynn's sleeping face. I gently let her go and to my surprise none of the others were laying around.

I cautiously stood up and made sure not to wake evelynn up. I carefully made my way over to the front door. I open it up and gently close it. I immediately run off to akali's room. She wasn't inside, but I didn't mind.

I head inside her bathroom after grabbing some clothes. I grab my men's 13 in 1 shampoo and take a short cold shower.

I don't really like it but hey it is what it is.

I get out and put on my fresh set of clothes. I get out of akali's room and head for the living room. I stop midway because I was hearing voices. I knew four of the voices, one was familiar and the other two were unknown.

As I approached the living room again I hear a loud bang.

M/n: "I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN TAKE YOUR MONEY, SO LEAVE NOW!"

I run into the living room and slide to a stop when I see who is sitting on the opposite couch.

Three distinct figures, sett, a woman, and... my father. I clench my fists and make my way to ma. I kneel down to look at her, she looked shaken and was just about ready to cry.

Me: "What happened?"

I spoke in a stern but calm voice, before she could answer, F/n spoke.

F/n: "I'm here to pay, as a way to make amends and so you both may move on. I want to talk to both of you and clear everything up."

He stood up and walked toward me, I stood up in response and walked towards him.

Me: "Yeah? Well ma said she doesn't want money, or to talk to you. So why dont you do everyone here a favor and piss off like you have for the last 18 years."

F/n: "Son I-"

I activate apnoea and punch him in the gut. He doubles over and coughs violently. As I was about to kicked him sett pushes me away.

Sett: "Sorry y/n, but if he makes ma happy then I can't have you hurtin' em'."

He got into his stance and I got into my own.

F/n: "Enough!"

F/n stood up and forced sett away.

F/n: "Its become rather clear coming here was a mistake. I'll leave."

He placed something down on the couch and grabbed both sett and the woman. He teleported away I ball my fists but I knew I couldn't do much.

I sprint over to the couch and deactivate apnoea. I check what he placed on the couch. It was an envelope filled to the brim with money.

I grit my teeth and head for the kitchen. I immediately dump the envelope in the trashcan and head back to the living room. Everyone sat in silence.

Ahri: "Y/n, are you okay?"

She had worried look on her face

Me: "I'm fine."

I turn my attention to ma she seemed better now. I walk up to her and kneel again.

Me: "Are you Alright?"

She nodded, I grasp her hand tightly and nod back at her.

Me: "If he ever comes knocking again, tell me, I don't care if I'm the shower or asleep you had better come to me."

All of them nodded

Me: "Good, good, good, now then I'm going to go make breakfast."

Ma stood up

M/n: "I'll be doing the cooking today."

She used her stern voice, I backed down and sat in one of the couches.

Akali stood up from her couch and walked over to mine. She laid down and rested her head on my lap. A small smile creeps onto my face. It soon dissapeara when the others come and sit next to me.

Akali: "That was pretty violent."

Me: "He had it coming."

Akali yawned

Akali: "I'm sure he did."

She placed her hand on my cheek

Akali: "But the best thing you can do right now is to just ignore him. Because if you hate him then you'll never be rid of him. So just ignore him and never think of him again."

She had a small smile on her face

Me: "Well I suppose I can't argue with that logic."

The smile comes back to my face before I remember what I was thinking of last night.

Me: "I have a request that I'd like from the three of you."

All of them looked at me curiously

It's time to get even.
