I hate sitting around like this.
Just waiting for something to happen.
I run my hand through my hair, and let lose my ponytail.
Akali: "What do you think they're talking about in there?"
I glance down at Akali, she was looking nervous.
Ahri: "I don't know. But Y/n said he trusted her, so..."
Ahri sat down on the concrete steps.
Ahri: "Try being patient for now."
She removed her earring and removed some of the bracelets on her wrist.
Kai'sa followed suit and took off the bandages on her midriff.
Akali undid her pony tail too. As she does, I hear the door click behind me.
I turn to face the door, and I see a woman holding a clipboard.
???: "Excuse me, my name is Soraka. I would like to ask you all some questions if you wouldn't mind."
Soraka? Okay. She seems trustworthy enough.
I glance at Ahri, she nods affirmatively.
Me: "By all means go ahead."
She glanced down at her board
Soraka: "Do you happen to know Y/n, and if so, what is your relationship with him."
All of nodded
Me: "We're friends of his."
She nodded and scribbled something down on her clipboard.
Soraka: "How close would you say you are with Y/n."
Akali piped up
Akali: "I've know him since I was a kid."
She hummed in acknowledgement.
Kai'sa: "How is he?"
She sighed.
Soraka: "I have good news and bad news-"
Me: "Bad news first, and don't sugarcoat it."
I took a step forward and crossed my arms.
She looked at me, clearly a little bothered by being interrupted.
Soraka: "To put it bluntly, Y/n is in terrible condition, by my estimates, he will be bedridden in three months, comatosed in four months, and dead by six."
My eyes widen, but I didn't have time to be in shock.
I turned around and looked at Akali, she looked ready to collapse. I walked by her side and held her up.
Ahri was doing the same for Kai'sa.
Soraka: "The good news is his injuries are healed. But what you'd be happier to hear is that a full recovery is possible for Y/n."
Akali: "How!"
I grab her arm.
Me: "Calm down."
She looked t me anxiously.
Soraka: "Are you familiar with Y/n's ability?"
He's brought it up a few times.
Me: "He let us know the basics."
She nodded
Soraka: "Well, over the past our years, he's eaten almost only junk food, he hasn't done much in terms of physical activities, and he's been actively neglecting his basic bodily needs."
