"This is terrible" you pushed away the plate of food Cione had made for dinner "what even is it?" "Whatever meat that was left in the kitchen" he tried to hold a straight face while chewing on a small bite but the more he chewed the more obvious it was he was disgusted as well. Leaning on the table you watched him as he continued trying to swallow his pride only for him to spit it out in a nearby cloth. "Don't criticize, the food you made the other day was just as disappointing" he set his silverware down letting out a groan "you're from the mountains, don't you just eat whatever you can get your hands on anyway?" "The mountains have a lot more fresh food than here, and you don't eat it unless you know what it is" giving him a shrug you collected both of your plates before discarding the remnants out of the window. "I think we still have some apples, it's not much but it's better than nothing?" making your way to the pantry you dug through the shelves, bags, and pots looking for anything that looked familiar. As you continued to dig through you were only met with more disappointment, nothing in the cabinet was familiar to you.

"It's all spirit food. That meat was the only thing that looked decently regular" Cione offered you his hand helping you stand back up from the pantry floor "they eat some disgusting stuff, well at least it's disgusting if you have no knowledge on how to cook it". "Wait... is that why he gave me" pulling the paper covered ball from your pocket you began looking for an edge on the paper. "What are you doing?! Thats a cursed object you idiot, you don't know what spirit you'll release if you break that seal" Cione grabbed the ball from you holding it out of your reach. "That one won't, Sukuna said she lives to serve and even if her seal was broken she's not violent" grabbing onto his arm you were trying to wrestle the ball from his hand as he tried to push you off with his other arm "and you believe him?"Dropping from his arm you stomped your foot lightly on the ground in agitation "yes, I do believe him. He's going to be the one to kill me, why would he give me a cursed spirit that would beat him to it?" A face of confusion spread across Cione's face before he handed the ball back to you "I don't know why but honestly you have a point".

Quickly before Cione could change his mind you scanned for the edge of the paper once again, as soon as you found it you slipped your nail underneath the thin paper. It pealed away easier than you imagined leaving behind a beautiful pale pink rock that had a small flower engraving on it. "Is that a death flower carved into that stone?"you could hear the regret in his voice as he stood behind you looking over your shoulder. "Well her name is Lycoris" you turned around giving him a small smile. "She's named after the death flower and is sealed in a rock that's carved with a death flower.. but she's not violent.." you couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh that only made him more agitated that he gave in so easily. Before he could scold you though the pink stone shattered, sending it's broken shards throughout the kitchen. The room began to turn warm making you and Cione uncomfortable hot as you both looked around in disbelief. The shards of stone began to sprout pink spider lilies coating the once gloom and dim kitchen. As you two continued to look around a soft voice spoke out from the corner of the room.

"Who are you two? And what is this place?" both of you turned around to see a small girl hiding alongside one of the cabinets, peering around the corner she seemed terrified and lost. "Are you Lycoris?"calmly you kneeled down bringing yourself closer to her height "I'm.. call me minx. and this is Cione" you waved for Cione to crouch down beside you hoping it would make the small girl less scared. "This is Sukuna's temple.." "Sukuna's here?!" she seemed to gain some confidence only to duck back behind the cabinet when she couldn't spot him in the room "where is he?" "Gone right now, but he'll be back" Cione joined in trying to calm the girl, speaking in as soft of a voice as he could. A small whine left her as she seemed to debate if she should come out or not, taking notice you extended your hand to her and let a warm smile grace your face "these flowers of yours are beautiful.. I've only ever seen red Spider lilies". Your words worked gaining her curiosity she finally emerged from behind the cabinet letting you and Cione see her.

She was the size of a child making her the smallest cursed spirit you had ever seen. Her appearance was mostly human but her one leg was made completely of the same pink stone that she was once sealed in. The same pink lilies seemed to sprout from her stone leg covering it with a few small blossoms. "You aren't scared of my lilies?" she still seemed nervous as she looked at you, her arms tucked behind her back. "Not at all, they must get their pink color from your leg?" you pointed making her drop her head down in a shy expression. "You're the first human I met who hasn't been scared of them.." she began nodding her head intently before lifting her head to make eye contact with you again "you're right about my name. I'm Lycoris." You extended out your hand once again as she slowly approached letting her small hand sit in yours. "Why would a human go by the name Minx?"what was a triumph moment seemingly turned awkward making Cione laugh loudly from behind you. "It's the name Sukuna gave me.. lets leave it at that" that seemed to be all she needed to hear nodding her head that she understood.

"So little one, how old are you anyway?" Cione's hand seemed massive as he patted the small Childs head. Is that the only way you know how to show affection? Ran through your head as you worried he might accidentally hurt her. She pondered for awhile with her finger resting on her chin before finally coming to an answer "I think I'm around 6,000? I lost track being sealed". "Of course you are, I don't know why I expected anything else" another loud laugh left Cione as he stood up now towering over you two "You must be hungry after all this time? I don't know what we have that'll you enjoy but the food here is mainly spirit food so I'm sure theirs something you may like". Her nose started to wiggle as she turned around looking at the open pantry. Stars appeared in her eyes before she darted towards it digging through, she filled her arms with different items quickly "I've always wanted a kitchen this stocked! Have you two already eaten? I can make us something super quick if you haven't?!"

You and Cione sat at the table as you watched Lycoris dart around the kitchen, quickly throwing together something that made both of your mouths water. "I'm guessing food is a comfort thing for you?" you took in a deep breath as she sate down a plate in front of both of you before grabbing one for herself and joining in. "Food makes everyone happy! Thats all I want anyways.. but people are always scared of me" she seemed gloom for a minute making you worried until she picked up her silverware and dug into her food. A big smile was on her face as she rocked side to side while chewing. Shrugging you and Cione both joined in taking a bite of the mouth watering meal, as soon as the flavor hit your tongue you understood her big smile across her face. "Lycoris this is amazing" "It's better than anything either one of us has made".
