Sadly the Jujutsu sorcerers were unable to stop the full resurrection of Sukuna. Still sharing a body with Yuji Itadori he was able to take most of the control away from Yuji only losing control on occasions when Yuji strongly objects.
Humans and curses views him as a god bending to his every demand. After going on a murderous rampage before losing control to Yuji, Sukuna finally got Yuji to agree to two sacrifices a year. One curse and one human, he demanded the masses to bring him their best candidates each year. The one that pleased him the most became the superior race for that year and were allowed to do anything and everything they wanted while the lesser race were to become disposable slaves.
This year things were different though when one of the candidates managed to peak a different interest for Sukuna.
