Hey Babes~
If you've read up to this point I'm sure you know things can get a little dark time to time and touch on some more serious topics. The last couple chapters have been light and fluffy but the next few chapters are not so sweet. They are also very pivotal to the plot line so if you don't want to read the details in full I completely understand and to make sure you don't miss out on the plot I've included a summary of this chapter at the end for you to read.

Rolling over in bed you tucked yourself closer into Sukuna's chest resting your forehead against him. Taking in a deep breath your eyes were heavy with exhaustion as you could feel yourself slipping into unconsciousness only for a loud bang to jolt you wide awake. The same bang also brought Sukuna out of his deep sleep, in a subconscious response he flipped you underneath him pinning you to the bed as he looked towards the doorway. "What was that?" You were nervous muttering quietly under your breath. The temple was always empty and therefore silent aside from you two and Cinder but all three of you were accounted for in your room.

"Shut up" his voice was low as one of his hands covered your mouth muffling the sound of your stifled breathing. "Lord Sukuna! Lord Sukuna please!" A faint voice was heard yelling out. Your eyes shot up to him and instantly you were filled with fear as you observed his expression. His face was plastered with pure rage and agitation, bloodlust basically pouring from him as he pulled himself from you making his way to the door. The popping of his knuckles filled your ears as you stayed in bed your eyes glued to the ceiling in pure terror. "Stay there, or you'll be joining our guest" his words were laced with venom as he disappeared from the room.

Time seemed to almost stop as you waited trying to listen for any clues as to who was in the temple. You rolled over in bed clenching your eyes shut when you heard screams echo through the halls. Things had been so peaceful the last few months that you had forgotten how much you hated hearing those horrible shrieks of pain. A scream louder then before begging 'stop I'm sorry' made you cover your ears as tears rolled down your face. You couldn't bare it any longer, you wanted to run away but Sukuna's words were embedded in your mind.

Grabbing the blanket you pulled it over yourself pleading in your mind for him to kill whoever was inside instead of continuing to make them suffer. Your pleas must have been heard cause only a few moments later the temple fell silent once again. Taking a breath of relief it was cut short when the hairs on the back of your neck stood up. Sukuna's laugh, the same one you heard when you first met him, made chills run through your body as you listened to his foot steps getting closer.

The second he stepped inside the room your stomach dropped as you flinched hearing him make his way to the bed. You could feel the mattress bend underneath him as he crawled back into your bed. You remained on your side looking away from him your eyes clenched shut hoping he would go back to sleep. Instead you nearly let out a scream when his arm came around you, his hand wrapping around your throat was the only thing that stopped you. Pulling your body back into his he bit down on your neck causing your skin to break under his teeth. The tears rolled quicker down your cheeks when he bite down harder causing a loud snapping noise.

Wincing in pain your hands came up gripping onto his wrist. Your nails dug into his skin as you tried to pull his hand from your throat. Letting go of your neck you gasped in as much air as you could his hand now holding your chin as his teeth still dug into your neck. "Please, what did I do?" You struggled to get your words out through your tears. You were starting to feel light headed from the loss of blood making your body go limp against him. Finally he pulled his teeth from your neck, rolling your head backwards he hissed into your ear "you gave yourself to me".

Before you could say anything his thumb slipped into your mouth pulling your jaw open. His other arm snaked around you holding you firmly against him as he whispered into your ear "those tears of yours are so beautiful". His arm pulled back against your ribs as the pressure flooded your body sending you into a panic. Letting out a loud cry your tears dropped onto the bed as he leaned over your shoulder smirking. "You can take more then that" his tone was almost teasing as he pulled back even harder. Your ribs were threatening to snap under his grasp as you continued to cry out in mix of panic and pain.

"Please please don't break them" you sobbed out in an incoherent cry as his laugh filled your ears. A loud growl came from behind making Sukuna release you from his grip. Turning around he threw you with ease off the bed and onto the floor landing in front of Cinder. Cinder moved over top of you in a protective manor guarding you as they continued to growl at Sukuna. You laid on the ground gasping and coughing, holding your sides in pain your mind still caught in a daze.

"Shut that thing up before I destroy it" his tone was assertive and calm as he eyed down Cinder. Unable to talk you grabbed Cinder's leg making them back off, their head came down to yours pressing against your forehead they let out soft coos clearly worried. Finally catching your breath you turned around to face Sukuna who was now sitting on the edge of the bed staring down at you. "They want my decision" he mumbled out as your eyes met with his. "What decision?" One last read fell from your eye landing on the floor beside you. "Who wins... humans or cursed spirits". Your eyes went wide as you looked up to him "I forfeited.." "I know that" he cut you off anger clearly showing in his voice.

Things were silent until a heavy sigh left his lips "I'm leaving tomorrow" he stood up making his way back to the door before stopping "the spirit tribute has to die".

Chapter Summary:

After being woken up in the middle of the night by a strange visitor Sukuna is now placed in a difficult spot. It's not clear who the visitor is as Sukuna's rage took over him killing the stranger and setting him in a spiral of destruction. After taking his frustrations out on you in a bloody painful mess he reveals that he must choose a winner Human's or Cursed Spirits. He claims he needs to leave once again and that the Cursed Spirit tribute must be killed leaving the reader dazed as to what just happened.
