A good day

Date - August 26th, 2021

A couple were walking down the road, the male, being a gamer, was thinking about what game to add to his collection. The female, a more simple but very lively person, was going to get them both some ice cream, mostly cause it was a very hot day and that it looked like it was going to rain.

The male, simply known as John by his friends, was going to pay for the ice cream, but his loving partner, Charlie, insisted that she would pay for the ice cream. This then lead to a conversation about what favorite ice cream flavored that liked.

While they were talking, John caught a glimpses of a new game that looked to have been released recently, the price being 60 to 80 dollars, why the prices were getting higher, he had no ideas. Immediately like a dog on a leash, he got excited and went over to the shop, unknowingly leaving Charlie to her thoughts, once she realized he was gone, she went after him.

Long story short, they bought both the game and ice creams. John was happy cause of the game, and Charlie was happy cause John was happy.

Today was a good day for them.

Until . . .

John - "Come on, come on! Let's eat our ice cream and play the game, I heard it has co-op!"

Charlie - "Well you said the ice creams were put in a bag right? Did you get it?"

John - "Course I did, it's right here on the table- . . ."

When he pointed at the table, the bag of ice creams weren't there.

Charlie - "John..." Charlie said with a motherly tone "where are the ice creams?"

John knew he would be in trouble, the ice creams were on the road, he dropped them by accident and they were probably melted by now

John - "I-I don't know, I thought I had them!"

As soon as they noticed where the ice creams were, the bag got ran over by multiple cars. And then the bag caught on fire due to how flammable it was.

John whimpered as if he were a dog and looked at the ground, knowing he messed up what would had been a great date with his loving girlfriend. But Charlie looked calm.

Charlie - "Don't worry fluffy bean, I bought some more ice cream and put them in the freezer before we had left, surprised you didn't notice" She said as she went over to the freezer and took out two ice cream bars. She handed on to John and again, like a dog would when given affection by its owner, John looked so happy, he forgot what happened to the ice cream from before.

After they finished their ice creams, they booted the game up and waited for it to get done downloading. Surprisingly it was done very quickly, for a 100 and something GB game.

They opened the main menu and saw the first mission, they pressed play.
