Game Time

As soon as they pressed play, they were sucked into the game. They had invited Carlton and Jessica to play as well, so at some point, those two would also get out into the game.

John landed face first into the ground, while Charlie opened her parachute and looked around, the in game map was small, 3D and 2d black out trees covered the background, a big moon brightened up the map, and a bunker could be seen in the center, with a plane on fire next to the building on the right, and a few trench's in the back, with some walls made of wood surrounding the bunker, and also some explosive barrels placed around the map.

Charlie took her time and landed on the roof, there were two big holes in the roof, each leading to a different floor. She hopped down to the first floor and checked on John.

Charlie - "Are you alright fluffy?" She asked with a smile and helped John up.

John - "I am not fluffy. I don't even got fur on me."

Charlie - "Ok, then are you alright bean?"

John will remember that. . .

John noticed that their clothes had changed, then he remembered that before the start of each mission, you could choose which character to play as, though there were only 4 characters, 'Tank' Dempsey, Dr.Edward Richtofen, Nikolai Belinski, and Takeo Masaki. Judging by the green military outfit, John choose Dempsey, and Charlie, due to the nazi outfit, choose Richtofen. It fitted a bit with how much history the playable characters had.

Charlie took the hat off her head and examined it, she tried to shrug it off noticed that there was already blood on her, at the moment, new outfit.

Charlie - "of course I choose the crazy one."

John - "aren't they all crazy?"

John looked around and noticed all the doors and everything were already open.

John - "looks like someone was here before us, maybe this is a used copy of the game."

Then Charlie realized, now that they are in the game, how would they get out?

Charlie - "uh...John?"

John had found a machine which displayed a lot of perks, it was know as the 'Wonderfizz'.

John - "yeah?"

Charlie - "sense you know a lot about the story of the series, do you know how we get out of here?"

John - "oh yeah! It's very simple, we just have to complete the mission objectives."

Charlie - "wait....wasn't it just a survival game?"

John - "yep, but there was a story to it. I think I have the map of it in one of these pockets."

Charlie was now confused and surprised

Charlie - "you just carry the story of the game series with you?"

John - "of course, I like to read when I am bored so this helps a bit." He found the map and handed it to Charlie. When she opened the map, it looked like a lot of nonsense on a page, but when she looked closer. She could indeed see the story.

Charlie - "well, this hurts my head a bit.."

John - "take your time! It looks like the zombies won't come for a few hours."

Charlie nodded and decided to read what the map was showing, to put it shortly, it was confusing.

In the distance, someone in a fancy suit, with cane and hat included, was watching the two from afar, and purple smoke surrounded him.
