A soldier awoke to some of his allies being gunned down by German soldiers, the Russian soldier stayed still, he was not noticed. A minute or so after of silence, the Russian soldier crawled to another Russian soldier that appeared to be dead, only he wasn't.
This Russian soldier, was known as Sargent.Victor Reznov. And the soldier crawling to him, the one that stayed still, (from the start of the chapter), was known as Private.Dimitri Petrenko.
And the two were set on a mission to kill.
