Vendetta part 2 (end)

Reznov - "The rotten cancer of the fascist Reich ravages Europe like a plague. Their relentless drive into our motherland steals the lives of Men, Women, and children alike. The arrogance of their leaders is matched only by the brutality of their soldiers. These are the darkest days of the Nazi occupation of Stalingrad."

After some time, the two soldiers came up with a plan, General Heinrich Amsel, the man the two were set out to kill, would be taken out at midnight.

Reznov - "This man is the reason this city hides in shadow's. Men, women, and children alike, were slaughtered, my allies...my friends, were killed. And you and I will avenge our fallen men."

Dimitri - "But how will we do that?"

It was one hour until the attack. They had sneaked around towards their destination but were caught at one point, leading to the building they were in to be set on fire. But they were lucky and had escaped, but 3 German soldiers, one with a flamethrower, were waiting for them.

German soldier - Kommunisten! (Communists!)

German soldier 2 - Her mit dem Flammenwerfer, verbrennt diese Russenschweine! (Bring on the Flamthrower, burn these Russian pigs!)

Just then, the 3 German soldiers were gunned down, and a few Russian soldiers came out of hiding.

Daletski - "Dimitri? We thought you were among the dead in the massacre at the square!"

Reznov - "He was. Among them, but not one of them."

Daletski - "We're about to assault the communication post north of here"

Reznov - "Good. Such a move will prevent the German Command calling for help. Dimitri and I will provide cover from above... Wait till you hear the sound of dieing Germans."

Shortly after, they attacked the command post, the attack was a success.

Reznov - "They have taken the German command post. Amsel will try to run. Quickly! We must cut off his escape route!"

Dimitri - "How are we going to do that?"

Reznov - "Follow me... I know the perfect sniping position overlooking the command post."

As Amsel left the building, his bodyguards were protecting him, but they were killed off one by one. Now was their chance.

Reznov - "Take the shot Dimitri."

Dimitri had hesitated, he only had one shot, if he missed, he wouldn't be able to try again.

Reznov - "SHOOT! NOW!"

BANG

Amsel was dead

The building was swarming with German soldiers, the two had to make their escape. Reznov broke down a door blocking their path and a group of German soldiers approached them.

Reznov aimed his gun and fired until the German soldiers were dead

Reznov - "DIE! You scum sucking animals!!! RRAAAAGH!!!"

Dimitri watched as his comrade took down the enemy soldiers in seconds. But he kept moving, they had to escape.

There was only one exit, a hole in the building, it lead into the river below, with German soldiers surrounding them, the two only had one choice.

Reznov - "Into the river Dimitri! it is our only chance!"

The German soldiers broke down the door and started to surrounded them. Reznov jumped.

Reznov - "GO!!!!"

Dimitri jumped aswell, but when he jumped into the river. . .

Reznov jumped into the river, hoping his friend would jump aswell, but when he went underwater, everything looked different, almost as if he teleported. Just then, Dimitri was also teleported, landing on his back as he groaned in pain

The two got their weapons out and stayed close together, they were in what they assumed to be enemy territory. They noticed a bunker and started to walk towards it, until . . .

Reznov - "Down. Down!"

Dimitri listened and hid behind a rock, Reznov did the same, he got out his binoculars and scanned the building for German soldiers, but what he saw instead was what looked to be four civilians, aiming weapons at each other.

Something felt off.

Dimitri - "Should we attack?"

Reznov - "No Dimitri, for once, let's try and talk to them. Maybe they will tell us what is going on."

The two Russian soldiers came out of hiding and walked towards the bunker, what they didn't notice. . .

Was that others had been brought there aswell.
