It's Not That Easy to Let Go

Katsuki POV

"Go home."

"Can i stay a bit longer?"

"Is there any more business yoi have here?"

"Yes. I want to talk with you. It's been a long time since we saw each other so i want to know what you've been doing."

"Why do you want to know?"

"I'm your friend so i want to know. You did not contact me when you moved away not even once so i'm curious. (I also looked for you but i never found you...)"

"What?"

He whispered the last part so i didn't hear it.

"Anyway, let's talk for a bit please?"

"*sigh* Fine."

"So kacchan, what happened when you moved away?"

"Nothing. I studied in MR university and i worked after grad. I rented an apartment and live there for a few years before i decided to come back here."

"Is that all?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Nothing."

Why does it feel like this nerd doesn't believe me? Does he know something?

"Enough about me. Tell me about yourself."

"Sure. When you moved away, i was lonely and depressed. I always went outside and come back late at night. I drink everyday so that i would forget the loneliness in my heart but it's not enough. Sometimes, i would stroll around the beach but there's too many people there so i made a secret place of my own. I gathered rocks and made it look natural and unnoticeable."

"Is that the place we were last night?"

"That's right. I would go there often to think about some things. It was my secret place. But now, it's not my secret alone."

He smiled at me suggesting that since i know about it now, it's not a secret anymore. Is he picking a fight? I just happened to find it. It's not like i know that it's his at that time.

"I studied a lot and grab a scholarship to study at university in osaka. When i graduated, i worked as an accountant at a company in tokyo. Then i climbed the social ladder and now, i am the CEO of an investment corporation."

Hmm. So he's a bigshot now.

"During holidays, i would visit my parents here. I'm happy i could spend time with them but this year's christmas is the happiest i've been."

Deku looked directly at me before continuing.

"It's because i met you again kacchan."

"Do you... No, nothing. If you're done, then go home."

"... Right. I'll come back again. See you later kacchan."

After deku left, i cooked for lunch and went to the secret place in the afternoon.

"There's no way deku sees me in that way. And i already decided that i will live alone for the rest of my life. Love is just so disgusting."

Since then, every holiday and weekends, deku would visit me. His parents are traveling around the world. I heard from him that they are currently in singapore.

"I've been wondering for a while, why did you come back here kacchan? It's not like you had no choice but to come back and stay here. And in the countryside, there's less work and the pay is low. You'd just earn enough to live from day to day."

"It's none of your business. Why do you keep coming here then?!"

"Because you're here of course."

"Go away and don't come back again."

"Ehh... I'm your only friend and you're chasing me away? Won't you be lonely without me?"

"Wow. You're delusional. In any case, you're the CEO of a big company so do your job instead of coming here every fucking weekend."

"Ah kacchan. I saw that there's a new stall that is very popular recently. They say it's very delicious. Let's try it together."

"I already did. My cooking's better. And don't change the subject."

"Ehh i want to try it. Are you gonna cook for me since your cooking's the best in the world?"

"Bastard. Let's just go there. You happy now, fucking nerd?!"

"Yeey~! Thank you kacchan."

We went out to eat that famous new food in town. Though it's just a simple chicken sandwich, the complex seasonings made it taste like it came from heaven's cuisine.

"Two please. Here, kacchan."

"I'll pay for mine."

"No, it's ok. It's my treat."

"No, take it. I can feed myself just fine. Don't worry about it and just take it."

Deku hurriedly ordered one more before turning back to me.

"Ahh i have no hands so i can't take your money."

I frowned because he's so sly. This fucking nerd.

"Tch. Forget it."

As we were talking to each other, someone called out to me. I turned to look at that direction and i was so shocked.

"Bakugou?"

Huh?!

"It's you right bakugou? Do you remember me? I'm kirishima, your boyfriend. How have you been? I haven't seen you for a while. I miss you so much."

"K-kiri... shima."

Fear overtook my senses. I dropped the sandwich on the floor and moved back one step while he inch closer and closer to me.

When he was about 1 meter away, i closed my eyes and put my hands on defense.

"Excuse me but what business do you have with 'my' kacchan?"

Hi guys. I've been contemplating whether to make izuku a bad ass or a possessive gentleman but i relaized there's no difderence between the two in my case.

Should i make a happy or sad ending? What do you think?
