Lloyd POV

My eyes fluttered open and I began to sit up. I looked around and saw a nightmare. Everything was a deep blue with a rib-like structure. It appeared I was in a giant broken birdcage and I wasn't alone. A body lay beside me with tattered black robes and bruises and cuts covering his face. A face I know all too well. "(Y/n)!" I say going over to him, shaking him a bit. He had Vengestone cuffs on his hands and feet with a broken chain at his feet. I blew the cuffs off with blasts of Energy.

"(Y/n)!" I say to him again, causing him to finally stir. "Lloyd?" He tiredly groans out. "Where are we?" (Y/n) asks. "The Cursed Realm." I state to him. His (e/c) widens in surprise then furrows in determination as he starts to stand up. I try and help him as best I can. "I got it. We need to get moving, and get outta here." (Y/n) says as I help him up, his arm around my shoulder. We both lean out to peer out of the cage and see Ghosts flying away from us. We go down the opposite way of the rib cage corridor going by more and more cages.

We continue through this ghastly place, (Y/n) and I both keeping our guards up, not knowing what we might run into here. (Y/n) then places his free hand on my chest drawing my attention. "Lloyd, you might want to see this." he says before pointing out in front of us. He looks surprised. We are met with the sight of my Dad chained between two teeth-like pillars down a ways ahead of us. I gasp before yelling out, "Dad!" My Dad looks up, astonished, and calls out, "Lloyd?"

I fight the urge to go run over to my Dad as (Y/n) still needs me to help hold him up. (Y/n) seems to look right through me, as he always seems to, and pulls out a crystal from his robes. He then turns it into a crutch and takes his arm off my shoulder to lean on it. "Go. I'll catch up." (Y/n) says tenderly. I can feel my cheeks start to heat up and just smile in response before doing as he says. I run right to my Dad and give him a big hug, he tries to embrace me too but the chains hold him back.

I look to the chains holding him as I pull away, thinking of ways to break them. "My son." Dad says, still in awe that I'm somehow here. "And is that (Y/n)?" He asks, causing me to turn around. "Hey Garmadon. It's good to see you." (Y/n) says with a soft smile, as he wobbles towards us. "I'll get you out of here, Dad. I'll get all of us out." I state as I pull on the chains holding him. "There's no use. These chains will not break." My Dad tells us with his head hanging down.

"We'll see about that." (Y/n) exclaims before pulling another Crystal out and extending it into a sword before striking against the chain. The sword shatters on impact. "Huh, guess Clearstone isn't unbreakable here, wherever we are." (Y/n) states, looking around. "Where are we?" I ask, looking around as well. "The Cursed Realm is the Preeminent, and the Preeminent is the Cursed Realm. Son, you're in the belly of the beast. But if you're in here..." Dad asks, concerned.

"Morro is the Green Ninja. And he's stolen the Realm Crystal." I explained to him. "I tried, Father..." I say, defeatedly. "Lloyd, you can't give up." (Y/n) says, walking up beside me and placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. "(Y/n)'s right. If Morro has the Crystal, all is endangered." Dad warns. "But how? I'm not the Green Ninja anymore." I ask. "It was never about the color of the gi that made you who you are. It was the color of your heart. Don't give up." My father tells me. "I won't, Father." I say, feeling a bit more confident.

"You must leave here and destroy the Preeminent. Save Ninjago. Save the Realms." Dad urges. "But Garmadon, if we destroy this place..." (Y/n) solemnly states, looking at both me and my father with a concerned expression. "...it could destroy you." I say, finishing (Y/n)'s thought. "Whatever happens to me, wherever I am, I will always be with you. There comes a time when every boy must become a man. What sort of man, is up to him." Garmadon muses. "Father..." I trail off before giving him another hug.
