(Y/n)'s POV:

We were running up the mountain side path to get to the entrance. Jay had fallen behind to look at a Vermillion egg hatch, probably saying how gross it is or something. "Jay! Less watching, more helping!" Lloyd calls back to him as we continue to run up the mountainside. Jay runs up to us and begins to speak. "You know guys, I was thinking now that we got Ninjago's workers out of here, maybe we should join them." Jay suggests as we reach the top of the pathway at the tunnel entrance. 

Two Vermillion eggs fly at us and crash to either side of us releasing a lot of red snakes. Zane and I go to attack these snakes. "What about Master Wu?" Lloyd asks. "He's gone." Jay says, turning towards Lloyd. A Vermillion charges at him from behind, but Jay punches his face sending the warrior down the mountain without even turning around. "It's a strategic retreat." Jay tells Lloyd. 

""Strategic retreat" is just a fancy way of saying "giving up."" Cole says as he throws a Vermillion warrior off him. "What do you think, Lloyd? You're the Master-in-Training here." Jay says approaching the Green Ninja. "We need to regroup at the Temple. Zane, cover Ice" Lloyd orders as we all run to the entrance. 

Zane blasts the area around us making a half-dome-shield around the entrance. I take the extra step and summon Crystal along the edges of the dome to reinforce it. A giant boulder flies at the dome and barely chips it. "Ha! Take that!" I say in triumph. A barrage of boulders then crashes into the dome, causing it to crack even more. "Maybe I should have used Clearstone..." I mumble to myself. 

"Quick! Before they get through!" Lloyd calls out, leading us as we run towards the Destiny's Shadow. A beep comes from Zane and he turns back. "One moment. I'm getting a signal." Zane states. "Oh, yeah? Does it sound anything like this: "Move your butt, Zane!"" Jay asks. "Cyrus Borg." Zane exclaims. "I must retrieve him." Zane states running back towards the dome. I look towards the dome and see it cracking even more. 

"Wait. You're totally outnumbered." Cole says. Pieces of the dome behind Zane start to fall. "He's right. There's like, a million more Vermillion out there." Lloyd says. "There's no way you could possibly save him all by yourself." Jay tells the Ice Ninja. "So I'm coming with you." Jay says running to Zane's side. "Same here." I say joining the two. 

Cole and Lloyd give us a look of shock. "What? We're ninja. Saving people is, you know, what we do." Jay says. "Yes we do." Lloyd exclaims in a determined tone. He and Lloyd run to us and as I look behind us the dome starts to fall. "Take cover!" Lloyd calls out. Cole grabs Jay and I grab Lloyd and Zane. We both sling them over our shoulders and sprint through the falling chunks of ice and Crystal. 

To protect Lloyd and Zane, I summon a Crystal shield to cover us while Cole just Earth punches any debris falling on them away.  We leap behind a fallen structure of the broken dome as the dome finally falls. "Where are they? Vermillion, check the tunnel." A familiar voice calls out. It belonged to that dark orange Vermillion who was guarding Wu. 

"Any sign of escape?" Another voice calls out. And there's the other Vermillion idiot who was with the dark orange one. When no answer is heard the orange Vermillion speaks up again. "Do you know what this means?" He asks his friend. "The ninja have been eliminated." The dark orange one says excitedly. I give a quiet scoff. You wish. "Victory!" Both voices call out. "Or they found another exit." The dark orange Vermillion suggests.
