I had woken up before Garmadon and snuck to the bathroom as quietly as I could without waking him. I usually do this every morning since I started rooming with Garmadon on the Island. Part of it is manners but the other is so he doesn't see too much. As I thought this, I stopped drying off from my shower turned toward the mirror to see my back. A large burn scar covered the majority of my back from my shoulders to my mid-back.

Just looking at it brought back memories, and my breath started to hitch. I grabbed my arms and closed my eyes as I tried to steady my breath. Don't focus on that. You are in a safe place, you are stronger than before. I tell myself before looking back at it. I normally am very nonchalant and cool but my one weak point, my one insecurity is my back and the story that goes with it. I chuckled at this. My BACKstory. I continued to silently chuckle as I put on my clothes and head out to greet the day.
The Ninja, the remaining Elemental Masters, and me sat in a semi-circle table covered in plates of food. Kabuki servants walked around offering food to the elemental masters and Chen. I sat in between Kai and Garmadon as we ate and saw one of the Kabuki servants offer Lloyd what looked like bon bons maybe? "Try the horned wasp eggs. Delicious!" Chen said to Lloyd. Wasp eggs!? Lloyd looked repulsed and said, "I think I'll pass." I don't blame him, those things look disgusting. "Oh, lighten up, Green Ninja. This isn't a trick. This is a feast to celebrate the nine of you making it to the second round." Chen stated to Lloyd and the others. "And I must congratulate the Master of Shadow's defeat over Master of poison. She was a bit hard to swallow, am I right?" Chen joked badly. His Kabuki laughed and applauded him. Chen turned to them and shouted, "Laugh harder! Hahahaha!" The Kabuki followed suit just causing me to roll my eyes. Kabuki are annoying.
Lloyd was still tense about all of this. Kai seemed to notice too and said to his friend, "You can relax, Lloyd. Even if there was a fight, now that we told the others about Chen's dirty plot to steal our powers, we're safe in our secret alliance." Griffin chimed in from the other side of the table, "I tried to enlist Shadow, but that dude's throwing some serious shade." I scoffed at that, finding it funny. Garmadon mused to the others, "Well, if you plan to stop Chen, you'll need everyone on board. Each fighter that loses gives him strength. Soon he'll be too powerful for even all of you combined to overcome." "Why don't we just take him down now? With all of us united we could win, so what's stopping us?" I ask the Ninja. "Easy. Zane. As long as Chen has that bargaining chip over our heads we don't dare make a move or else who knows what he'll do to Zane." Lloyd states. "Well what if--" I'm cut off by Chen speaking up over all the chatter.
