Moments later, the Greenbridge leads Pegasus into the arena and up to me. He tells me, "You'll be fine. I know you will."
"Thanks, Marcus," I say, taking Pegasus's reins. He spares me a smile before leaving the arena.
"Alright, Izzy. Try walking him around the jumping course first," Ben calls. I nod and lead Pegasus around the course that's set up. There's even a water jump set up as well.
Once I'd finished leading Pegasus through the course, I turn to him and murmur, cupping his muzzle, "Are you ready, boy? I trust you."
Pegasus bickers as if to agree. I stroke his cheek before putting on my helmet and gripping the reins. Then I mount him gracefully. I take Pegasus to the start of the course.
"Whenever you're ready, Izzy," Dad says.
I nod my head and kick Pegasus into a trot, heading for the first low vertical fence.

We leap over it with ease and I canter him for the second, high vertical jump, which has another fence with two poles lower to the ground a couple of canter paces before it.
