17th Chapter

ZHAN COULDN'T move for a few minutes until he hears people's gossips and as they walk closer to Yibo.

"Y-Yibo," he whispered crying. He couldn't stand up. His body felt numb. He wants to run and gets close to Yibo but his body won't listen to him.

Someone comes close to him and helps him stood up.

"Do you know that guy? I already called the ambulance. They are on their way," he said.

"T-Thank you." He muttered and pushed the stroller of his sons.

"Excuse m-me." He pleaded as he gets close to the crowd. He starts to panicked when he saw Yibo laying on the ground.

He kneels beside him and holds his hand, "H-Hang in there, please." He cried and cried until the ambulance came.

Shaking knees and body he called Haikuan, Yibo's brother.

"Oh, Zhan? Do you need something?" Haikuan asked but he just answered him a sob.

His sobs got louder and louder. "Y-Yah, is that ambulance? The fuck? Where are you?!" Haikuan starts to panic as he hears the siren of the ambulance.

He hears on the other line that he is starting to clean his table work and getting ready to be there for him.

"The fuck happen, Zhan?! Answer me!"

"H-Haikuan-" he sobs again.

"My God, Zhan. Stop crying." He consoles him.

Zhan heard Haikuan's car engine. "Where are you? Come on. You're making me nervous." Haikuan asked once again.

Zhan clutches his chest and kneels in front of the stroller of his sons. Yuri and Yuan look so damn confused looking at him, maybe thinking why he is crying.

"Y-Y-Yibo," he uttered using his shaking voice.

"What happened to Yibo? Did he found you? Did he try to talk to you? What happened?" He asked

He cries again as he remembers how Yibo crashed into the truck, "H-Haikuan. I'm s-s-sorry. Y-Yibo got into a t-truck accident." He uttered crying

A long silence eats them until Haikuan spokes calmly, "Calm down. Where is he now?" Haikuan asked

He sounded so calm but there's a hint of worry in his voice that he can tell.

"H-Hospital."

"Then where are you? Are you with Yuan and Yuri?" He asked

Zhan nodded as if Haikuan is in front of him, "I'm h-here at the nearest park of y-your house. Please, get here quickly. H-Haikuan, I need to see Yibo. I n-need to know i-if he's okay, please." He pleaded while crying.

Haikuan hushed him, "I'm on my way. Wait for me," Yibo's brother uttered before ending the call.

Zhan is not calming. He cried his eyes out worrying about Yibo. His sobs become louder as he saw Haikuan and Xueyang running towards him.

"Zhan!" Xueyang shouted and pulled him up.

He clutches Xueyang's polo, "L-let's go. Please. I w-want to see Y-Yibo now," he pleaded.

"Alright, let's go," Xueyang said while Haikuan pushed the stroller close to his car and get them inside.

Just a few minutes, they reached the hospital where Yibo is admitted. They asked the nurses where is Yibo but said that he's currently inside the operating room.

Xueyang pushed Yuri and Yuan's stroller while Haikuan guided him to the door of the operating room. Every second, minute that passed by, Zhan can't help but sobs silently. He's so nervous. What if something serious happened to Yibo?
