Chapter 3

Sabrina POV

I run blindly through dark streets. What have I done? I think as I nearly run into a street pole. I just BIT someone, and through that same person into a wall with my mind. Wtf! I'm a monster. A vampire! Wait no.....I'm alive...then what am I? I run into a man in a dark cloak and he nearly falls over. He's clutching his throat and his eyes are red. The veins around his eyes pulse red. "I'm so sorry." I begin, but he waves it away and smiles at me. "No, I'm sorry. I haven't broken my streak in quite a long time, but I am just so thirsty. You understand don't you? It will only hurt for a few seconds, I promise." I shake my head no, but he grabs my wrist. He opens his mouth showing fangs. "I said no!!" I scream at him, and he goes flying into the brick wall behind us. There is a cracking sound and he collapses in a heap. I gasp, startled at what I had just done. I had just beaten a...vampire? Once again, WTF?!! I run even faster now, not wanting him to catch up to me, afraid of what the vampire might do. My head burns an my stomach is killing me after about ten minutes. I stop suddenly an puke blood. This goes on for about give minutes and I have to sit. My head is spinning. Every part of my body is burning now. I look down at my pale hands that are covered with bright red veins. I keep my eyes squeezed shut because the pain is so terrible. This was it, I was going I die. I think back to Tammy, and push a thought of mine into hers. I'm sorry.

Tammy POV

Louie, Zayn, Harry, and I are tracking Sabrina, running down random streets. Niall stayed with Liam for he could get some blood. When vampires are first created, they need human blood straight from the vein, and no, we don't kill them...that would be wrong. Zayn is eyeing me and he thinks I don't notice. I look at his jawline, which is absolutely perfect. He's cute....I get distracted by his face and run into a middle aged man walking by. He staggers back in disgust. "Repulsive mutt." He sneers, and come towards me, growling. Uh oh, grumpy vampire...not good. Something flashes in his hands....is that..a silver knife? Oh no. He lunges, and before he reaches me, Zayn knocks me to the side, catching me before I touch the ground. He tackles the man and waves Louie over. Louie bends down, at eye level with the man. I watch, curious. "You are going to fall asleep now, and when you awake, you won't remember us." Louis says in a creepy voice, his eyes narrowed. The man nods, and starts snoring. Wow. Don't mess with Louis. Zayn pulls me in a bear hug. "For a minute I thought I was going to lose you." He whispers in my ear. Omg I didn't know he felt that way about me. I kiss him on the cheek and pull out of the embrace. I keep walking and stop in my tracks. I catch the scent of blood. I run with inhuman speed down the street with the guys following behind me. "Slow down!" Harry complains, and that's when I turn into an alley and stop in my tracks. It's Sabrina, and her heart beat is very slow and hard to hear. I pick her up and nod to the boys. She doesn't have much time. I look down at her pale face and race back to the apartment.

Liam POV

I drag Niall with me as we run along backstreets. Nobody is in sight, until I see her. There is a beautiful dark haired teenage girl walking alone. I didn't want to choose her, but I couldn't see anyone else and Niall was getting weaker. I raced over to her and pushed her into a dark alley, with Niall following. I used my weak compulsion skill on her. "You are going to let him feed from you. Then, you are going to walk away and forget you ever saw us. This isn't going to hurt. Understood?" She nodded an I made a sigh of relief. My compulsion worked after all. All vampires are supposed to be able to use it, but I had never tried. Louis had always been there. "Now Niall, when you drink from her, don't take too much. We aren't killers." Niall nodded, thirst controlling him as he sunk his fang into her neck. He continued drinking after a minute, faster now. "That's enough." I told him. The girl was getting very pale. "Stop!" He cleaned the wound to extricate any venom from his teeth. If he didn't, she would eventually become a vampire like him. However, the thing is, it has to be done instantly or the venom will go straight to the bloodstream and it would be to late. Niall wiped his mouth and looked up at me expectantly. His eyes returned to a normal color. "Let'a go back to the apartment. Harry just texted me. They found her.
