All of you had headed back into the facility, with Tony needing a little more persuading than the rest of them, you hung at the back of the group as Nat lead the way, with both super soldiers either side of Loki.
"I'm telling you Tony, he's not here to hurt me and even if he was it would be a pretty dumb idea to do it with the Avengers surrounding him."
"And who's to say what he showed you was real? huh? He can enchant minds, make you think what he wants you to."
You look at him with a sympathetic look, even though you now knew you weren't blood related he still looked out for you as if he was your big brother, "i cant explain it Tony, i just know what he showed me was real, maybe its an Asgardian thing or maybe just a woman's intuition, but i believe hes here to help me."
Tony pulls a face and huffs knowing he wouldn't win in an argument against you.
"You wanna talk about it?" you change the subject.
He exhales, "I'm sorry I lied to you, I should of told you the truth from the get go that you weren't my sister," he explains before you cut him off.
"Not that," you say sympathetically, "you said Bucky killed your parents?"
Tony gives you a confused look, "your whole life we, I, have lied to you and your first concern is me?"
"You lied to protect me, you had no other choice, Loki showed me that, and your still my big brother, regardless of blood," you tell him.
Tony lowers his voice a little, "it wasn't technically him, it was the Winter Soldier, but still, I find it hard seeing past that," Tony says honestly.
You pull him into a hug, "I'm sorry."
He squeezed you back, "mom would of loved to have you as a daughter."
You and Tony smile at each other, coming to a new found understanding and love for each other, before heading into the living room with the rest of the team.
You take a seat, waiting for Loki to explain a little bit more.Loki looks deep into your eyes with what looked to be affection, "Odin was training you to become his weapon for war and his ultimate defense for his kingdom. When he learned what you were capable of he chose power and his own ego over his only daughter, his own flesh and blood. You became a shell of the person that i grew up with, you played less, laughed less and barely smiled all because of his brutal training and beatings he subjected you to everyday," Loki paused hoping the next part wouldn't make you hate him, "so i took it upon myself to lock your memories away and hide you here, in the hopes you would have a better life, out of his grasp."
"So how long have I been here?"
"I brought you to the Avengers around 3 years ago, and altered your memories to make it seem as though you had lived here all your life," Loki answers honestly.
You let that information sink in before asking, "you always refer to him as Odin, never Father?" you state.
"He adopted me from my home in Jotunheim, after he had waged war on my people, nearly destroying the entire planet, Odin always believed that every realm was an enemy of Asgard to be conquered and subjugated, if not killed."
"I am sorry that happened to you and your people," you say hoping it would help in some way.
Loki nods and gives a half smile at your apology.
Bucky seemed a little hostile towards Loki, "you came here thinking she was in danger, from who?"
"I believe Odin's scouts know she's on Midgard."
