Appellations (Reader X Bucky)

Request Denied

"I knew what I was giving up when I left you here, I understood that you would of moved on but a small, selfish, part of me hoped you wouldn't."

His words were the reassurance you needed to know that he still cared for you even though you loved another man.

"Thank you Loki," you smile. You look at Bucky who still looked pissed off at him. You sensed that they would now always have hostility between the two of them.

"Well, I don't need to watch reality TV this week," Tony says trying to lighten the mood as he, Steve and Nat move from the sofas to where you were.

Nat too tried to release the tension in the air, "so are you all juiced up and magic now?"

"Erm, I dunno," you hadn't really stopped to think if what you and Loki did had worked.

You bring up your right hand and focus in on a bottle of water across he room. You levitate it off the table and float it towards you, grabbing it in the palm of your hand.

"I guess it does."

"Oh come on (y/n) that's childs play," Loki says as he grabs Bucky from behind with a dagger held to his throat.

"What are you doing?!" You exclaim.

Blood dripped from Bucky's neck.

You inhale deep and conjured your Asgardian armoured outfit and your sword. Your eyes glowed gold as you held a ball of magic in your left hand.

Loki's grin was huge as he let go of Bucky, dissipating his daggers and holding his hands up in defeat, "there she is."

After realising he wasn't actually going to hurt Bucky you release your magic, "are you okay?"

Bucky doesn't say anything but wipes the blood from his neck.

"What was that?" Steve pressed Loki.

"She just need a little kick start," Loki grinned.

Bucky turned around and punched Loki square in the jaw, Loki didn't flinch, he just caressed the inside of his cheek with his tongue and grinned at Bucky, "so naive of you to think that would hurt me."

Bucky goes in for another swing but stops as you and Steve shout, "whoa, okay," you run over to him and place yourself between him and Loki, "let's go outside for 5, just the two of us," you reason. Bucky slowly turns away from Loki after killing him with his eyes, and proceeds to follow you out of the facility.

"He's just upset that I'm with you and not him, and his coping mechanism is to be arrogant," you tell Bucky.

"I don't care what he does to me but if he manipulates you like that again he'll be staring down the barrel of my gun."

You loved how protective he is of you, "here, let me have a look at that," you ask as you place your fingertips on his neck.

Your eyes glow gold again, as you trace the wound under your fingers it closes up and heals.

"There, good as new," you tell him.

Bucky looks a little confused and he touched his skin to find that you had healed him. Then he takes a moment to really look at you, "you look amazing."

You follow his eyes and look at your outfit and your sword, "I suppose this is pretty cool," you add.

It was a full body suit, white with a gold trim and embroidery. It clung tight to your figure as the cape fluttered softly behind you in the breeze. Your swords blade looked as if it was made of glass, it was a soft blue colour and nearly transparent, the grip is gold matching the rest of your look.

"Give us the princess and we will spare your life," a voice from behind you and Bucky exclaims. You both turn to see 5 men in armor with various weapons all stood in a V formation. The one at the front spoke again, "(y/n) Odinson, your Father, Odin, King of Asgard requests you come home."

"This is my home," you put simply.

Just then Tony, Steve, Nat and Loki walk out of the facility, F.R.I.D.A.Y had notified them of their arrival. Odin's scouts acknowledge your friends presence, they seem unfazed as they stand their ground, the frontman continues to speak, "if you don't return to Asgard willingly we have orders to take you with force."

Bucky steps infront of you, "not gonna happen."

Loki walks nearer to you standing between you, Bucky, and the guards, "there's no need for you to take her, I found her moments before you and I will personally deliver her to Odin," Loki tries to reason with them.

The leader laughs, "we know it's been you hiding her, leading our army on dead end missions."

"Well," Loki smirks, "sure took you long enough to figure that out."

"Enough of your games! This is your last chance princess, let us escort you to Asgard."

The rest of the team walk from behind the guards and stand at your side, "she said she's staying here," Steve says calmly.

"Fine," the guard exhales and readies his weapon, "then we'll fight you too."

Bucky just has chance to say, "stay close," before the guards charge towards your group. Everyone took on one of the guards as best they could, Loki, Steve and Bucky were getting the upper hand on their opponents Nat and Tony were having more trouble.
You ignore Bucky's request and sprint over to their direction taking charge of fighting their opponents for them, with moves and grace that you didn't realize you had, until now. You disarm one of them and slash the other with your sword injuring him so he crashed to the ground.

The guards were no match for you, Loki and the Avengers, they knew they had been beat, the ones that were able, lowered their weapons and retreated to the injured ones. The beam of cylindrical light came back into focus and removed the guards from the grounds.

Bucky walks over to you, "you good?" he whispers as the others talk amongst themselves, figuring out what to do next.

"Yeah, you?"

"Yeah," he replies.

"Well it looks like Odin is about to get confirmation your here," Loki says, "let me take her to a different realm, hide her until Odin looks elsewhere," Loki pleads with Bucky.

You didn't let Bucky answer, "I'm not going Loki, i'm staying here."

"and what happens if he comes to take you?"

"Then we will protect her," Steve puts simply.

"Then i shall return to Asgard and try to put Odin on the wrong path."

"You cant do that Loki, you heard that guard, he knows your the one that's been hiding me," you tell him.

Loki exhales hard and rests his hands on his hips, he knew you were right.

Bucky steps forward to him, "stay here and help us protect her," he extends his hand for Loki to shake, "we could use another Asgardian on our side."

Loki looks at you then down at Bucky's hand, not even attempting to shake it, "firstly I'm not Asgardian and secondly I'm doing this for her, not you," he says as he walks past the group and heads into the facility.

Tony rolls his eyes, "definitely not happy being on the right side for once," he laughs.

"He'll come round, given time," you tell them.

"Can we trust him?" Nat asks.

"Were gonna have to," Steve replies.
