Chapter 9 : The meeting

(A/N sorry for not updating soon i have been really busy with school and family but i hope you enjoy this chapter anyway)

Thursday, tea shop: Delicious

LOLA

I walked into the tea shop and looked inside, i scanned the room untill my eyes lay on a mop of curly brown hair. I paused for a minute unsure of whether i should turn and leave now or stay. whilst debating this with myself Harry turned around to face me (well thats my question answered), I could feel my face heat up as he smiled and waved towards me. I slowly walked over to his table not wanting to seem so eager. "Hello Lola, thank you for meeting me today... I thought that you would hate me forever and that I would never see you again, I'm so glad that you're here, when hannah picked up the phone I wasn't sure if it was because you never wanted to talk to me again and I...."
"HARRY" , He stopped rambling and looked down embarrassed. "Sorry", a red tinge flowed through his cheeks. "That's okay, I'm used to your rambling anyway as you should be of mine as I'm known for rambling but you know that already of course you do your my brother oh gosh look I'm rambling now", I take a deep breath and look back up at harry, "sorry", he just shakes his head, "don't apoligise, that's what I'm here to do", I nod and wait for him to continue to talk. "I have missed you so much Lola that it was eating at my heart, everyday of these past 2 years have been filled with sadness and regret as you have not been there to bring the light into my life, I take back everything I said to you as I didn't mean any of it, I was trying to protect you but now I relise that I had taken it too far, I wanted you to remain my baby sister and seeing you in that dress made me think that I was loosing you and that you were growing up too fast and I guess I couldn't handle it, I want you to forgive me but if you can't just yet I will understand", we looked eachother in the eye the whole time he was talking so I knew he was sincere. "These 2 years I've learnt to forgive you harry as I do know that you were just being the protective older brother and my dress was quite inappropriate so yes I do forgive you but it may take a while to get back to the way things were as the words you said did hurt but I'm willing to try if you are?", I could see him nodding vigoursly before answering, "yes yes yes, of course I would love to, thank you so much for forgiving me it means so much, I know things won't be the same for a while but we can take it slowly step by step". For the next few hours we sat drinking tea and eating cake discussing the parts of our lives that both of us had missed. He commented on my new gothic style and rock music taste saying how his friends from 5 seconds of summer have the same taste in music as me and how he's quite sure that we would get along well. I hope that I could meet them soon as they seem like my kind of people and I am also really looking forward to reuniting with the rest of one direction; well the four of them as harry mentioned how zayn was planning to leave the band soon. Which is very upsetting news (but at least their album four makes sense now ), after we had finished tea and eaten enough cake to fill our entire stomachs we decided to depart. We stood awkwardly outside the tea room not knowing how to say goodbye, to hug or just wave off was floating around inside my head. Luckily harry decided to be brave and gave me an awkward one armed hug, " umm, goodbye lola I hope to see you soon, this was fun", "Indeed thank you harry and goodbye" and with that we went our separate ways.
