Natasha

I was in the gym with clint practicing some moves when JARVIS call us, "Miss Romanoff and Mr. Barton, your presences are requested in the dining area". Clint was distracted so I took this opportunity to take him in a headlock, "not fair JARVIS called" clint mumbled while tapping out. "As if you wouldn't get distracted in the field" I smiled as Clint rubbed his neck. "JARVIS how urgent is this? " I asked. "you have about 20 minutes miss Romanoff" , "great then I'm headed to the showers, you could use one as well" I joked looking at Clint, waving my hand in front of my nose suggesting that he was smelling really bad. Earning a quick sarcastic smirk form him, what only made me smile more. 

After taking a swift shower I made my way towards the dining area. We had planned a surprise party for Clint and it was my job to keep him busy today so the rest of the team could set everything up. I made sure to be there before Clint. "Everybody ready, Clint is now on his way towards you" JARVIS said, Tony had asked him to notify him when Barton would make his way to us. JARVIS started whispering a countdown,"5,4,3,2,1". "happy birthday" everybody yelled "congratulation Clint", "congrats old men" everybody was congratulating Clint speaking right through each other. I had taken a seat at the bar enjoying the view of everybody smiling and seeing Clint's face as he unwrapped all the presents. Thor got him a bird, showcasing his Asgardian traditions. Nobody understood why and the bird got loose causing all kinds of trouble, the spider boy caught it just before it could do any real harm. It was really cute how Stark walked up to him, giving him a pet on the back. The look on the boy's face was so funny, he was so proud. Steve got Clint something for his kids. By the looks of Laura she was really happy with it. And Tony being his 'hilarious' self, got him a little frame with "Clinton Francis Barton" (his full name) on it just to embarrass him. Thor called him Francis for the rest of the night.

After he went around talking to all the guest thanking them for coming, he came looking for me. " A beer and an vodka shot please" Clint said sitting next to me. "how's it going" he asked, sliding me the vodka. "You know me, enjoying the party from afar". We toasted and I took the shot. "Laura and the kids are looking good, they look happy" I smiled looking at his children running around the building. "Yeah we're good, better then we've been in a while." he sighted. "what's wrong? them being happy is no reason to pout.", "I know, I just can't help but feel like everything is about to go to shit." "Come on Clint, let go of it, this is your night, you should be happy, there is always tomorrow to worry. I got you something" I said grabbing a small box from my pocket and giving it to him. "what is it", "open it then you know" I say rolling my eyes. He took the little box opening it, inside was a little bracelet with a small arrow on it, matching my necklace. "Nat this is amazing! Thank you so much." he stuttered. "It's alright Clint, we have been friends for a long time and I thought you deserved something special. And if it doesn't fit you, you can give it to Laura she will love it to." I say giving him a warm smile. 

We partied the rest of the evening, laughing and drinking. Some even started playing stupid little games, with of course Tony in the center of it all. It was a fun night but I have had enough drinks  and was starting to get a little tipsy. Calling it a night and heading up to my room. The next few days were pretty normal, we trained a bit and had a quick recon mission, nothing special really. Steve just called us all in for a training session, we would be sparring one on one today. Vision against Wanda, Tony against Sam, Steve against Bucky and Clint against me. We all just did our thing, it was a light training, last week had been quite an uneventful ,so everybody was just joking around instead of putting in their best effort. "Director Fury would like a word with you all" JARVIS said grabbing all of our attention. Clint tried to do one more move but I was quick to dodge his punch and swept his feet from underneath him. "Not today Clint, but nice try" I say extending a hand to help him up. He just took my hand not really saying anything but his eyes said enough.

"Put him through" Steve said while we circled around the hologram. "Captain Rogers I have bad news. Last night hydra kidnapped Y/N Y/L/N. She was working on a serum that would give someone the ability to read minds. She is unaware of the threat she is in. We have been monitoring her for the past couple years and recently offered her a fake job at our academy of science and Technology to monitor her more closely. While also being able to keep an eye on the development of her research. But this morning she didn't show for work and we haven't been able to find her all day, the only trace we found was some security footage showing her being beat up and taken by hydra men." Fury was clearly worried. "If this information falls into their hands we will be having another Maximoff disaster, no offence" he continued briefly looking at Wanda. I could see the outrage in Wanda her eyes but she kept quiet. "It is of vital importance that she is found and that any trace of her research is destroyed, I just send you all the information we have so far, good luck" and he ended the call leaving us with a lot of questions.

"Oké everyone we know how this goes, you know what to do, like Fury said we don't have much time." Steve stetted dismissing us all. Before I left I heard Steve mumble something under his breath while looking at the files that he just had been sent, "that poor kid, she has no idea what is happening". "Steve it will be alright, we will find her" I say before turning around and going for a shower. I want to be able to think clear and there is no better way to clear the mind as taking a hot shower.
