Tzuyu's POV

My Bedroom

"You're usually taking these right off the grill", Dad said opening my bedroom door

"Maybe I've been eating too much at the club", I said playing with basketball softball.

"You've barely been out of this room. Let's call the girls to get the game going", he said.

"They wouldn't come even if I called", I said.

"I find that hard to believe".

"Dad do I seem different to you this summer?", I asked.

"You dress a lot better that's for sure", he said

"I'm serious. Maybe my friends are right. Maybe I am turning into a jerk with new shoes", I said sitting up.

"New shoes, not a new kid. Where is this all coming from?", he asked.

"I've been so focused on my future. I mean Mina quit and dumped me. Sana won't talk to me. I don't see the wildcats running around here".

"Is this about going after what you want?".

"Yeah, dad. The scholarship is important. I get it", I said and sat on the end of my bed facing away from him.

"Hey, hey. It's only a big deal if it makes sense to you", he said.

"I don't even know who I am anymore", I said.

"You know what? I've known this kid for a long, long time. And I got a lot of faith in her. She looks a lot like you. I'm absolutely sure she's going to figure out the right thing to do".

Mina's POV

My House / Bedroom

I was on face time with Sakura.

Sakura ~ "Are you still upset over that girl? That I have no clue who her name is"

"I don't want to talk about her" ~ Me

Sakura ~ "Okay but there's this really hot basketball player. Like she's tall and she from a school"

"Chou?" ~ Me

Sakura ~ "Yes her. Like damn. Look"

She moved around her room turning the camera.

"Why do you have posters of her in your room?!" ~ Me

Sakura ~ "Who wouldn't shes hot as hell!"

Sakura ~ "WAIT A MINUTE SHE GOES TO YOUR SCHOOL!"

"yes she does" ~Me

Sakura ~ "Give me her number"

"I won't do that" ~Me

Sakura ~ "Why?"

"Sakura shes is the girl" ~Me

Sakura ~ "I know she's the hot basketball player I was on about".

"No I mean she is my ex-girlfriend" ~Me

Sakura ~ "Shit I am sorry. Let's not talk about her then. Something else".
