Part sixteen

( story time )
the next week had gone by really fast by now it was Halloween. Penelope was decorating her apartment with decor when she opened the door she saw...something. What she saw was what looked like an old man making out with a girl at her front door. "Hey! Take us somewhere else you old creep" she shouted. "Oh hey mom" Alex walked in and I walked in behind him.

"What did you do to your hair" she ran her fingers through it. "I said can i dye my hair on Halloween" Alex wrapped him arm around my waist. "Doesn't he look like he could be in a boy band" Lydia chimmed in. "Yeah boys to old men" I said with a laugh. "Okay the the hair Can stay" Lupe smiled. "Can I go to a Halloween party in Schneider's apartment" Alex begged his mother.

(Current time)
"I wouldn't say that I begged her" he playfully rolled his eyes. "Eh you kinda did" I smiled. "Mmh not really" he stood up. "But you did" I stood up. We started to argue in front of all the people in our house. We where having my parents, Alex's parents and siblings over. "Oh my god just shut up" Elena yelled over us both. "Fine" we both said. "So then...."

(Story time) "sure you can go" she waved to the door gesturing for us to leave. We walked out the door and she closed it behind us.

{ lydias pov }

I was getting ready to take out the trash while Lupita was talking to Max when I found something. Ay it's a test. I heard peoples talking in the living room. "Well I'm not gonna just leave it in a basket at the door and hope someone takes it" I heard Lupe scoff. She reached a glass of wine to her mouth. "Chardonnay is not for babies" I chugged her glass. "Ay mami what are you talking about" She grabbed her empty glass back.

"Ju are pregnant" i waved a test in her face. "What" Max exclaimed. "I- I'm not pregnant that's for sure" Lupita stuttered. "Is it elenas" I asked her as Leslie and Max walked into the kitchen. "No mami" "do ju think she fell off the wagon" i said tossing the test on the table. "No mami she really loves that wagon" Lupe said. "That can only mean it's Al-" "i know that it's Alex's" my daughter yelled.

{Penelopes pov}
I marched down to Schneider's apartment and knocked on the door. He answered with "hey Pen" "hey Schneider" I peaked my head in the door. "ALEX" I screamed. "Whoa whats wrong" Schneider asked. "This is what's wrong" o placed a positive test in his hands. "I think we should be apart of this conversation too ISABELLA" both of the kids came running to the door. "Whats up" Alex waved to me. "What have you guys been doing" I placed the test in Izzys hands. "Nothing" Alex tried to wave it off.

{Izzys pov}
"W-wh-where did you find this" I wanted to cry but I held it in. "That doesn't matter answer the question have you too done it" Lupita asked. She scared me and Alex silent. "I knew it" "that's what I thought" I heard my father and Penelope say. "Is this yours" Alex grabbed it. "Depends Penelope, where...did...you find this" I wasn't letting her leave without an answer. "It was in the trash in the kitchen" Pen sighed. "Ohhh then that's not mine" Penelope walked back downstairs.

Everyone left the party because the vibe was basically ruined at this point. "My Reina, can we talk please" Alex lead me into my room. "Sure about what" we sat on my bed. "Why did you reply to her like that" he grabbed my hands. "Like what"

"when she asked if it was yours you said 'depends' and before you asked her where she found it" he stood up and let go of my hands.

"It was nothing I was just asking questions" I was lying. "Izzy your lying to me, tell me the truth I won't be mad" he sat back down.

"Well it's just after...you know what happened I realized we weren't exactly what's the word...safe"
