"Just who we were waiting for." Arnold calls from the dining room. "Alex, why are you here?" I whispered. "Just go with it" he says while I walk him into the kitchen. I started to make him a plate while we talked. "How has it gone so far?" he questions. "Not to great because no one has talked it's so awkward" I respond. We go and sit down at the table he sits next to me. Sometime passes before anyone says anything again."So...trisha lets tell the kids our great knews" my dad says while grabbing patrisha's grimy hands and standing up. "We are getting married" patrisha smiled.

 My face went blank with no emotion at all. This couldn't be happening. I wish that it was all just a bad dream. It wasn't. "Izzy and Arnold are going to be siblings" Trisha calls out with joy. I hate her even more now. "I have to do something...somewhere Isabella lets go" Alex grabs my hand and pulls me out into the hallway. "They aren't getting married, i don't want a step brother i don't want a step mother" I protest. We walk into his apartment and go into his room.

 I hugged Alex as his grandmother walked in. "Why do you let another woman hug you Papito" she says. I let go. "Were you crying?" lydia questions. "No," Alex tells her. "Yes," I replied, wanting to lie to her. "I know what will fix this" she grabs my hand standing me up from the bed. "You need some lipstick and earrings, I'll go get some" she walks out of the room. Alex laughed and so did I. Something was special when I was around him or at least today. He starts to come closer to me. He kisses me with passion. It lasted about 3 minutes until.....

"Your abuelita said to give these to yo- what are you doing?" she yelled. Alex and I both stood up. "I think I'm gonna go back home now" I said super nervous. "No you should stay, we're gonna talk about...this" Penelope demanded.
