The day with Darnell was amazing. We got to bond even more, but then Corey disappeared, after the reunion. Spencer doesn't know why or what happened, and to be honest he could care less. I can sense it hurts him, but now I feel bad for Darnell. His mom is in Germany, and Corey, the only father figure he had, just up and left. It just sucks for the both of them. Spencer was finally getting his dad back, and Darnell was finding home.
Darnell wants to know what happened and made a bet with Spencer. If Crenshaw wins this next game, Spencer has to help Darnell figure out what happened, but if Beverly wins, Darnell walks away from it and let's it be. It's just all crazy. Corey wanted to be in everyone's life, he was a coach and now, he's gone, just like before.
Darnell and I were chilling in my room, but it wasn't hard to sense that he was upset about Corey. He was just laying there with a straight face. I just wanted to make him feel better.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," Darnell stated.
"Don't be stubborn like Spencer, I understand it's hard, but if you win, you will figure it out," I said.
"I know, but who knows if we will, Spencer's a boss on the field," Darnell stated.
"So are you," I replied back, "why don't I give you a massage to release tension in your muscles for your game?"
"Really? A massage?" Darnell asked.
"Yes, it helps, trust me, I used to give them to Spencer all the time, especially when he was nervous, it helped," I answered.
"Okay, why not," Darnell stated and flipped onto his stomach, then took off his shirt.I went to my vanity and grabbed my body lotion to put on my hands. I then sat right below his ass and started to apply pressure on his back rubbing upwards to produce stimulation. I rubbed throughout his whole back, and noticed knots and worked to get them out. Darnell was moaning and damn near screaming during some of it, but I was doing what needed to be done. Once I was done with his back, repositioned myself right above his ass to work on his shoulders and neck. Being a quarterback he uses his shoulders a lot. I grabbed more lotion and made sure his shoulders and neck were fully loose before I climbed off of him.
"Feel better?" I asked.
"A little," Darnell answered.
"What's wrong, just talk to me," I stated. Darnell turned over on his side and propped himself up on his arm.
"Corey is really all I have, besides my mom and he just left without a goodbye or an explanation," Darnell replied, "I just need to know, and Spencer doesn't seem to care,"
"I know, but you have to understand that Spencer already lost Corey and it happening again is nothing to him anymore, Spencer blocked that part out," I stated, "But you go out there today and prove that Corey is worth fighting for, that's why you never left,"
"What if you're worth fighting for?" Darnell asked and leaned up to kiss me.
"I can accept that," I replied and kissed him back, "Now you got to go get ready for your game, I'll be rooting for you,"Darnell put on his shirt, kissed me and left. I went over to Coop's room so we can head to the game together, especially with it being at Beverly so we are gonna have to take the bus. We decided that one of us will cheer for Crenshaw and the other will cheer for Beverly. To us, we really don't care who wins, we are going to support Spencer and our school.
When we got there, we went to the sidelines to meet up with Spencer. Coop and him were having a talk about the game and Corey. I wasn't paying much attention because I couldn't stop staring at Darnell. I ended up walking away to see him and he caught me walking, so he took of his helmet then started to walk towards me.
I couldn't help but just be attracted to him.
Everything about him just brought my soul to him, and it was like I needed him. He honestly had become someone who can make me let my guard down, so easily and knew how to make me laugh. He barely knew me yet protected me as if he did. I just can't help myself when he's around. He's real, and honest, but he's also not selfish and I appreciate that from him.
"So, who are you really here for?" Darnell laughed.
"Well, I swore an oath that Crenshaw means nothing when Spencer left," I replied, "But, you're here and you're supporting a good cause, plus I guess it's my school,"
"Wait, so you never cheered for South Crenshaw when Cam played?" Darnell asked.
"Not when he played the Eagles in the championship, nah Spencer my brother, my day one," I stated.
"Respect, Homie, I see you," Darnell pointed, "Am I allowed to get a good luck kiss or do you want to save it for later?"
"How about, we meet up later after the game? Then we can go back to your place since you will be all alone?" I asked.
"Hmm, deal." Darnell stated and shook my hand.
