Author's POV

As Casey sat in the makeup's artist chair while getting pampered by all these people she couldn't help but to be nervous. She was getting ready for her party that her now husband's parents was throwing. Her nails were white acrylics not too long to show that she was still a modest woman, her hair was styled in a side part with weave in it to make her hair more appealing and her outfit was all white because the color complimented her skin very well and it symbolized how pure she was as a "bride".

She hated how she had no say so in her look today but she had to remember this was the role she was playing. Casey never dressed like this she was so uncomfortable especially in heels.

While she sat in the chair waiting anxiously waiting for her makeup to be done so she can see how she finally looked. Her husband walks in.

"Wow" he said in amazement at seeing her in such a feminine manner. He was so used to her tom boyish ways.

"Wow what Keith?" she said getting up from the chair and seeing herself in the mirror.

"Oh wow" she said digesting her final look

"I look... I look-" she said stumbling over her words

"Beautiful" Keith said finishing her sentence while locking eyes with her through the reflection in the mirror

"Thank you Keith you don't look too bad yourself" she said breaking the eye contact they had a hold on.
