Casey sat at her vanity brushing her hair and highlighting her nose bridge. She smiled to herself in the mirror thinking about how well this evening will go. She and her husband will be attending his parents 40th anniversary. She loved going to these events because she got to socialize with people and most importantly look good with her husband. She got up from her vanity and looked at herself in the mirror admiring her dress. The slit in her dress was high which caused her to question how she looked but her husband appeared behind her and hugged her from behind.

"You look beautiful baby" he said kissing her cheek. "Really hun" she said with a hint of doubt in her voice. "It's no question about how gorgeous you look" "Thank you baby" she said kissing him on the cheek.
Keith went to his dresser while his wife looked in the mirror critiquing all her insecurities. He put all his jewelry on and brushed his hair. Keith shook his head looking at his wife because he knew she was gorgeous but she still had doubts.
These past couple weeks the young couple had been recovering from a lovers quarrel. Which cause both of them to question their love each other in every aspect. Both of their insecurities come out in the little things they do such as spending more time in the more for Casey and Keith over complimenting Casey.
"Babe are you drinking tonight" Casey asked "Nah remember what happened last time" he chuckled "Yeah" Casey shook her head. "The real question is are you going to be drinking" he asked her "1 glass of wine that's all" she said "Yeah keep it at 1 because remember what happened to you" she started laughing "I don't recall" she replied in a playful manner
~~Party~~
They entered the party seeing a few people but they recognize everyone. Casey knew this was a family event because there were no business people at the party. Old 90s R&B music played out loud and people where sitting down.
Keith's parents approached the young couple.
"Happy Anniversary Mr& Mrs. Powers" Casey said congratulating them on there anniversary
"Thank you dear it feels like we only been together for a year" Mrs. Powers said smiling
"Speak for yourself" Mr.Powers said under his breath. Which caused his wife to nudge him
"I mean thank you Casey" his dad said slightly smiling
"Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. I delivered you guys gifts to the house"he said hugging his parents
"Thank you son" his parents said
"Keith when you get a moment this evening can we speak" his dad said
"Sure no problem dad" Keith said
The song "Computer Love" came on
"Let's go Mr.Powers this my song. Later y'all" Keith's mom grabbed her husband and went to the dance floor.
"Would like to join me gorgeous" Keith put his arm out to gesture Casey to dance with him.
The two went to the dance floor bumping and grinding. You could see the love between them.

People where dancing and others watched from a distance as the they danced together.
"Don't hurt her bro" Keith's brother yelled out while his was dancing with his girlfriend
Once the song was over Keith and Casey went to go something to drink.
"Baby?" Casey said to Keith "Yeah" "I have to say this. I'm really sorry about our arguing this past couple of weeks. I love you and I never want to fight again"
