Casey POV
Once Keith left for work I cleaned the house. That included scrubbing, mopping, washing and changing the sheets of our bed. I loved being with Keith he made me so happy but it was times where he made me upset. Also the sex is amazing I mean he makes me feel so good. He listens to me and he always trying to spoil me but I don't let him because I'm independent.
As I was clearing out Keith's closet because it was messy I found a box and inside of it had everything from his ex. A ring, pictures and her panties. I didn't know what to think. I wasn't sure if I should bring it up or not. But why would he still have her panties. I put the panties on the counter top and kept doing my chores.
Once I was done cleaning I watched tv until Keith came home.
"Hey baby I'm back" he said kissing my cheek
"Mhmm" I sat there while he kissed me
"What's wrong with you" he said with an attitude
" look in the kitchen" I said coldly
"What are you doing going through my things" he said picking up the panties and confronting me
"No the real question is why do you still have them Keith"
"Because I can" he said
"Are you serious Keith that's the best explanation you have"

"Bruh are you kidding me when I'm washing your dirty ass clothes is OUR laundry but when I go through your secret box it's yours"

" do you still love her?" I questioned
He paused then said "no"
"You are fucking lying Keith" i said starting to walk away
" I love you" he said grabbing her arm
" and her too I'm going to bed" i said going to my old bedroom
I went into my room and laid down exhausted from the argument Keith and I had.
To think this man still loves this woman 2 years after they broke up, I will never be enough for him. Why would he keep his ex old panties like that's weird. A part of me is like maybe he forgot but his reaction says otherwise. I just laid the bed thinking for about an hour and I heard a knock at the door
*knock*
*knock*
"Leave me alone" I shouted knowing it was Keith
"I'm sorry" he said behind the door
"Ok" I replied
"Baby I'm sorry I only love you and it's no doubt about it"

"She is my past I forgot I had the box"

"Casey come on atleast answer me" he pleaded

I didn't feel the need to respond to any of pleads.
"I brought you flowers" he said walking in with a dozen roses

"Casey you are being childish right now I said I was sorry" he said sitting on the bed handing me the roses
"I got you Chick-fil-A" he said giving me the food
"Thank you"
"Ah you said something"
"Don't push it I'm still mad at you. I just need some space right now" i said eating my nuggets
"Ok I'll go see you in the morning" he kissed me on the cheek
"Mhm"
Morning
When I woke up the next morning , I went to Keith's room and he wasn't there. So I went downstairs to see breakfast waiting for me and money. Also it was a note and keys attached to the money. The not read:
Good morning, Baby once again I am sorry for how I treated you. I shouldn't have had that reaction and you have every right to be mad at me. I would be mad at me too. But you should never have to second guess how much I love you baby. I would marry you right now if we wasn't married already. You are my soulmate and I will never take that for granted again. So here is som food, money and keys to the car enjoy. I took off work early to spend time with you I'll be back soon.

I do love Keith but having his ex things still around created some doubt for me. But to make a relationship work you have to sometimes forgive even when you don't want to. I forgive him but I'm still mad and I don't want to accept any of his gifts because Keith thinks that buying me things will make me forget or not care and that's not me. Last time he messed up he brought the whole park out and we had a date and I loved it but he thinks he can buy my affection instead of actually talking the issue out.
Keith came back to see me on the couch eat cereal.
