Chapter 28 - Deeper

Sorry for the two month long wait-

I've been busy with school and haven't had time to write.

I also completely forgot all of the information regarding the phantoms disciples. So I'm gonna wING IT, and go off on what I remember remembering.

We're doing great.

"Anybody know where Todoroki went?" Sero asked, walking into the common room, centering his attention on the only person there.

"You just missed him," Kirishima replied nonchalantly, flipping through the many boring channels of the TV. "He went out with Midoriya and Bakugo."

"Those three always seem like they're doing stuff together." Sero wondered. And sighed, falling onto the couch next to Kirishima. "So he stood me up..."

"Huh?"

"He told me he'd watch Octopus Trial with me."

Kirishima raised an eyebrow. "Octopus Trial?"

"Yeah. The new show airing later today."

Kirishima flipped through the channel selection, and came across a certain one. "This one?"

Sero lifted his head to look. "Yeah that one! Me and him watched the trailer and were excited to watch it. But it looks like he's gonna miss it."

"Well," Kirishima suggested. "I'm having trouble figuring out what to watch. So I could watch it with you instead."

Sero popped his head up. "Really!?"

"Yeah. Why not?" Kirishima grinned.

"It's rated R. I don't know if you watch that kind of stuff..."

Kirishima snorted. "Who do you think I am? Rated R movies don't scare me or bother me!"

Sero smiled. "Great! Maybe then everyone else will feel the same."

"Sure! A movie night with everyone sounds fun!"

"Cool! I'll call them down!"

Sero was heading up the stairs, then stopped midway and took a few steps back down, propping himself on the rail. "We don't have any popcorn do we?"

"Oh," Kirishima pointed upwards. "If you sneak into Bakugo's room and look into his mini pantry, he has a couple of bags in there."

Sero immediately went rigid. "Of course it's in the beast's den."

Kirishima laughed. "Don't worry, he shouldn't notice if you take a couple bags. And trust me. It's really good."

Sero sighed defeated. "Fine." He ran up the stairs, and Kirishima heard his loud invitation echoing throughout the halls.

Bakugo felt his eyebrow twitch. Why do I feel irritated right now?

"Oh I know this cafe!" Midoriya rested his fist against his palm. "I went here over break!"
