Chapter 3 - The Heroes Always Win

Uraraka and Deku look at each other, their already frightened faces immediately flushed.

Bakugou however didn't show any emotion on his face. He just took a deep breath, and walked onto the field, his hands never leaving his pockets.

Out of all the people in our class... Uraraka thought.

Why Kacchan...? Deku thought, sweat falling from his face.

"Hey, don't just stand there you two." Aizawa grumbled. "We don't got all day."

Uraraka was nervous, this was her second time fighting Bakugou since the sports festival. Then again, she's improved a lot, especially over the summer. So she wasn't as worried. So a grin grew on her face with excitement.

"Alright! Come on Deku!" She grabs Deku's arm and leads him onto the field, and he blushes. She's holding my hand! I mean, it's basically my wrist but that's the same thing right??

Once they were about a yard away from Bakugou, who wore his determined frown, Deku became more nervous. "Uraraka I know you've improved, but since there's no boundaries, I can't think of a way to-!"

Uraraka spun on her foot toward him. "Don't worry Deku!" Uraraka puffs out her cheeks in excitement, fisting the air. "I'm gonna protect you with my life!"

Deku's face was full of surprise, Uraraka didn't give off any type of nervous vibe at all. It reminded him of when they were first teamed up together. She was so confident. When that thought came into his mind, he immediately gained a small smile.

"My hero..." He whispered, using emotion unlike Todoroki. Uraraka bites her lip and blushes a little but it was able to be hidden by her pink cheeks.

"And she called Momo the dramatic one, ribbit." Tsu rolled her eyes.

"Tch." Bakugou started stretching out his arms. "Quit the chatter, you two." He cracked his knuckles menacingly. "Today's the day you die."

Uraraka giggles. "I don't think so!" Making Bakugou's eyes widen out of surprise. Uraraka interlocks her hands and stretches them out. "I don't mean to be cocky or anything, but I am going to win."

Everyone was surprised at her sudden confidence, even Deku. I don't understand. Uraraka's smiling and gloating. At Kacchan!!! Does that mean she has a plan?

Bakugou's blank face turns into a wide smirk. "Alright, Cheeks." He enters his combat stance. "If you're so confident, I'll be sure to kill you first." He threatens. But she keeps smiling.

"And Start." Aizawa signals them.

Bakugou rushes forward, lifting his right hand to attack Uraraka. "NOW DIE!"

Deku yelled. "URARAKA!"

"We're fine!" Uraraka grabs Deku and carries him in her arms, "Huh!?" Uraraka places her finger pads on Deku's limbs. "Up we go!!" And she launches off the ground with Deku screaming in fear of falling. Yet they successfully dodge Bakugou's explosion.

"The hell??" He looks up and spots Uraraka, still holding Deku and floating in the air.

"Good plan! But uh..." Deku blushes as Uraraka continues to hold him. "Isn't this a bit much..?"

"Isn't what a bit much?" Uraraka asks cluelessly. Deku stutters but before he could even think of what to answer they hear a boom from below them. They look down and see Bakugou rocketing his way up to them. "Where the hell do you think you're going, HUH!?"

They both yell as their faces fluster, "I uh..." Uraraka nervously chuckled. "Forgot he could do that.."

"You WHAT!?" Deku shouted in her face.
