"I hate him.." Uraraka sobbed in her knees, her pain and anger all pouring out through her tears. "I hate him so much..""I know, sweetie." Mine pulled her into the fifth hug that she gave her that night. "I'm sorry."
I'm sorry. Uraraka bit her lip. The whole reason I went to him in the first place. How did things escalate like this?
"Ochako, tell me," Mina released her, tucking a bang behind her friends ear. "What were you doing over there anyway?"
Uraraka wiped her swollen eyes and sniffed. "I... went over to," She hiccuped. "Apologize."
"Apologize? To Bakugo?" Mina got up to retrieve her water bottle. "For what?"
"For that fight in class today."
Grabbing the full water bottle from her nightstand, she tossed it to Uraraka, who caught it. "The same fight that he threatened to kill you?"
"He's always doing that..." She spoke, taking a swig of water.
"The same fight that he insulted you in?"
"I insulted him too."
"The same fight where he almost attacked you in the middle of the lesson?"
Uraraka looked away, out of excuses.
"Nice try Ochako, but I don't think you're the one that needs to apologize here."
"He's not gonna do it, Mina." Uraraka leaned against the wall looking at the water bottle. "He's too full of himself."
"Nu huh!" Mina pointed her finger out at her and waved it left and right. "You don't know that."
"Yes I do, he's Bakugo for crying out loud." She tipped up the water bottle to get a big amount.
"Well." She paused. "What happened?"
Uraraka looked away. "He said he wouldn't accept it, then he began to taunt me and mock me... and I just..."
"You what?"
"I sort of... shoulder threw him to the floor.."
Mina's eyes bugged out, her mouth gaped open. "You.. Midoriya threw... Bakugo..?"
Is that what it's called now? "I guess..?"
"Wow." Mina didn't know what to say. "Just... wow."
"And so after I... Midoriya threw him... I said some things.."
"What'd you say?"
Uraraka looked away. "Hurtful things."
She didn't want to elaborate any further, and Mina could do nothing but accept that.
"Well, I think that he's gonna come up to you when you least expect it, apologize right off the bat, and promise that he'll never do something that stupid again."
Uraraka spit out her water, all over Mina's belongings on the table.
"My tablet!" She exclaims. "Ochako Uraraka this isn't water or saliva proof!!"
