"I can't believe we were sent home early!" Mina flopped herself onto the common room couch. "This is great!""Easy for you to say," Momo slouched into the couch across from the other. "I was ready for our quiz."
"Wait, we had a quiz?"
"You don't have to be upset, Momo." Jirou sat next to her. "On the bright side, we can have proper time to catch up with everyone!"
"Speaking of catching up," Toru went up to Jirou. "Can we talk about that robot? Momo you created something big!"
"I sure did..." Momo sighed. "I think I'll give up on the whole cellphone thing for now, maybe I'm not at the skill level yet..."
"I think you were on the right track," Tsu explained. "But try to go simple next time, maybe try a flip phone first?"
"A flip phone? What is that?" Momo tilted her head. Everyone laughed.
"The phone Ochako had in first year." Mina turned to her. "Right girl?"
Uraraka was smushing her face against the glass of the window, she looked to be concentrating on something very hard.
Mina walked slowly up to her back, making sure not to make a sound. She snuck up behind and stopped right behind her. She then grabbed her shoulders and screamed. "Ochako!"
Ochako squeaks in fear and hits behind her on instinct, but Mina dodged by a hair. "Whatchya lookin at?"
"You just scared me half to death!" Uraraka held her chest, steadying her heart. "Nothing really, I'm just trying to see if I can see the teachers through the windows of the school."
"That's impossible," Momo chuckled. "It's very far away and UA's windows were made as a one way window and one way mirror for that exact reason."
Uraraka frowned, and looked back at the school. "Why would they send us home?"
"Uh because the cafeteria's window broke and they have to take the time to fix it?" Mina tilted her head.
"Is that the only reason?" Uraraka asked. "Why would they send everyone home because of the damage to the cafeteria and gym? If it was for lunch purposes, we could have all came back to eat at the dorms, or even eat outside the school. And we could find other places to train other than the gym."
All the girls looked at each other, then back at Ochako.
"I think you're overthinking this, sweetie." Mina placed her hand on the brunette's shoulder. "Just relax, we don't get a lot of days off. Embrace this gift!"
Mina went back with the others, Ochako frowned against the glass. The only thing she was going to embrace is her inner detective.
**********
Ochako put on her signature black tank top and gym track pants. When she made sure she wasn't being followed, she dashed her way to the school.
She knew if she gets caught she'd be in huge trouble. But she only wanted to know why and then she'll leave. And during the summer, Gunhead took her under his wing and taught her a couple more things, like stealth and more hand to hand combat. She felt grateful since he wasn't being asked to or paid to. He did it out of pure respect for her.
She wanted to put her new stealth knowledge to use and break the rules.
I get onto Jiro for hacking against the rules, and here I am about to eavesdrop on my teachers.
When she got there, she saw Endeavor and another hero outside of the building. With those big wings, no one can mistake this was the number two hero, Hawks. They looked to be chatting about something on his phone.
