My heart dropped, I thought I would be been brave and ready for this but now that it's happened I was absolutely terrified. What if something happens to my friends? What if something happens to me? Quint quickly runs back out and I stand up. "Good luck" Globlet says. "Oh-oh thanks enjoy your chips" I give her a small hug and grab the Gift and run out of Joe's as quick as I could. When I got out of Joe's I was met with a ton of monsters, I could hear swords scraping against eachother and a lot of grunting and taunting. After a couple seconds of observing a monster began to tackle me, I quickly got out the blade in the Gift and began fighting back, I end up getting it on the ground, either knocked out or dead. In the corner of my eye I see Quint getting his butt kicked by Evie, so I help him out a little. Evie leaves after she sees the blade and I help Quint up. "thank you" he says, panting. "no time for manners, we need to get back to fighting" i reply, and i ran off. After a lot of fighting Evie yells "RETREAT! WE GOT HIM DOWN!" and monsters scramble everywhere following Evie and Meathook. I was rather confused who she was trying to "get down" and worries flood my head, what if it was Dirk? I couldn't live without him, he's my best friend. What if it was Bardle? How would we do basically anything? Jack would be so sad. I was just about to hp on and on with who it could be when Bardle calls us for a count. "Okay" I thought "at least Bardle isn't dead"
