63- All Falls Down

Five's POV:

Zero's legs finally stopped shaking while we are driving.... "Looks like I can walk again" Zero whispers up to me and I smirk at her cuddling her in close.... When we drive up it's a mini winter.....  we all gasp in shock as the car is silent....what on earth...... the barn is glowing blue....Vanya parks the car and Zero gets out immediately.... she looks up at the sky smiling as she outreaches her arms and opens her mouth..... snowflakes dropping on her delicate face..... "What is this!!" She squeals spinning around her arms still extended..... "Then snow?" Allison answers her confused and Zero looks down from the sky at me her eyes shining lilac.... "Snow" she whispers out.... 

I forget there is so much she hasn't seen.... so much.... She giggles running to me and I lift her up as she extends her tongue up at the sky..... "It's amazing!!!" she giggles out... I spin her around and then drop her down to meet my face.... I kiss her softly and she kisses me back her hands intertwining in my hair.... god I wish I could watch her in the snow all day.... she's so innocent... there is so much I want to show her.... I wish I could take a picture of this moment.... I chuckle at her as I try and make this image permanently in my mind..... the snow & Zero.... whoah what a site... her eyes sparkling lilac looking at me as the snowflakes fall on her freckles.. her dimples shining....we both smile as I put her back down as I take her hand in mine....

"Now this doesn't look right" Klaus says pointing at the glowing barn as we all walk towards it... "Yeah no shit" Diego scuffs as he draws his knives out... I roll my eyes at him as Vanya runs ahead to the barn.....Something is definitely going on here.... When we all get to the barn, Allison and Luther go first.... Diego, and I stay at the entrance.... Zero lets go of my hand and follows into the barn.... I wait awkwardly for her to come back not speaking to Diego... she blinks in front of me, "It's Sissy's son, he seems to have some of Vanya's powers." She says in wonder.... Diego and I look at her processing..... how can that even happen.... Zero looks past us and she goes a bit pale.... "Lotus? Are you okay?" I ask stepping forward.... she grabs my arm and points out into the field, "How?" She whispers out... I follow her hand and see the Handler and Lila standing out in the field.... "Crap" I whisper out and Diego groans as well...

I take Zero's hand as we walk alongside Diego to the field..... this isn't going to go well at all...... I look down at Zero... she's tense..... oh no it's not tense I'm sensing from her.....she's scared...... I squeeze her hand and she looks up at me, her eyes shifting between normal & dark purple..... "I've got you....okay?" I whisper out kissing her forehead gently... she breathes out deeply nodding in reply as she grips my hand tighter.....I hate seeing her like this.... I hate this gut wrenching feeling.... Why am I walking her towards the danger..... we stop on front of the Handler and Lila....

 "Did you two make up after that nasty fight my little pet..." the Handler says stepping closer to Zero.... I step in front of her immediately... the Handler frowns at me as she steps back.... "Five you better watch your temper or I might just have my doll back at the commission..." she smiles at me and I growl at her, "Never" she just shakes her head as Diego chimes in, "Lila" Lila steps forward glaring at us, "Guess it's time for you to pay the price... we know you killed the commission!" She yells pointing at us... Diego throws his arms up in the air, "What!!! We never did that!" Zero steps in between Diego and I looking at him... "Speak for yourself..." she whispers and Diego looks down at her then at me rolling his eyes.... "Seriously you two?!?"

Zero's POV:

Every ounce of me wants to run.... I know what's going to happen next.... The Handler chuckles at us, "You all are hereby ordered to death, for the murder of the commission." I gulp as I squeeze Five's hand.... he scuffs at her, "Okay 2 against 3...." Diego chimes in too, "I like these odds let go..." The Handler smiles as she snaps her fingers... "Your right, let's change that..." Suddenly hundreds... no thousands? So many commission soldiers appear on the field... I feel dizzy.... they are all dressed the same... briefcases in hand.... ready to fight.... A couple of men step forward towards the Handler, I recognize them instantly and squeeze Five's hand so hard he whispers, "Ouch what the hell Zero?".... I feel his eyes on me but my eyes are fixed.... 

"It's our doll face!!!" One says smiling, the other leans down to my level smirking at me, "God how I've missed that sexy body..." He out reaches towards me and I flinch away stepping back and letting go of FIve's hand, "Awe she does remember us.... all those years of fun... don't you toy?" He winks at me as they step closer.... I flinch again... my vision goes a bit blurry... it's hard to focus... I can't... too much is swirling around.. I try to fight off the feelings... the memories... I can't afford an attack right now... to break...I can't... I feel a strong hand around my waist and I flinch hard, but it holds onto me.... "That's enough, none of you are getting her..." It's Five's voice and I hear him in my mind... "Breathe baby.... Breathe" I focus on my breathing as I hear Deigo now, "There is no way we are letting you get near her ever again..." One of the men speak, "I highly doubt that" They chuckle and I flinch into Five's chest as I hear them laugh at me, "Oh poor pet... seems she forgot how to act in our presence...." The other one speaks too, "Guess we will just have to remind her..." Five hold me so close to him, I can hear his pounding heart... he spits out at them, "Over my dead body..." 

"Oh that can be arranged" The Handler says calmly... I watch as she motions her arm forwards and the soldiers start charging at us.... "Zero... I need you... come on I need you to fight alongside me... think of it as another date... another mission..."  I hear Five whisper frantically to me... I breathe in deep.... I feel his aura scared.... protective.... worried... he needs me... we need to do this together....or we are dead... I nod my head as he lets go of me... I draw out my knives and flip them in the air.... I look at Five.... I sing to him

He smiles at me nodding his head as he continues the song singing to me now,

I lean up on my toes and kiss his lips softly.... "I love you Five" I whisper.... he looks me in the eyes, "I love you too Zero" We nod at each other as we go back to fight stance.... both of us know this could be the end.... that might have been our goodbye... Five takes out his knives.... I look over at Diego and he has his knives out as well.... he nods at me and I nod back to him......this is it....When It all Falls down...
