Five's POV:
"What on earth happened to you?" Diego asks me throwing on a shirt.... I huff at him as I sit on the couch burying my face in my hands.... "Dude where's Vanya??" Diego asks "She left, went back to the farm" I sigh lying down on the couch..... Diego gasps, "Wait where's Zero!" He asks suddenly and I close my eyes.... How do I say that I slapped her and she left..... "I messed up" I whisper out and I open my eyes to see Diego staring down at me... "Five" he says sternly.... "What did you do!" I sigh siting up... I look at my ring.... her blood is still on it.... "I was angry, I didn't mean to hurt her...." Diego's eyes go wide and his mouth hangs open.... "You didn't..." he whispers out... I sigh running my hands through my hair.... I look back at the ring.... I need to wash this off... I blink over to the sink and watch as her blood disappears down he drain... my ring has her dark purple aura in it..... Diego slams his hand not the counter next to me... "You hit her!" He yells out and I look up at him.... he looks angry.... "I didn't;t mean it Diego...." I say blinking away... I sit in a chair looking at the front door..... I hear Diego huff as he walks away.... I try and shake Diego from my mind..... I watch the front door... waiting for her..... I check the time.... it's been an hour since I saw her......
It's dark outside now..... come on baby... it's been 12 hours now.... it's 9pm..... it was raining, and then it started snowing.... she could be freezing...I watch as the clock ticks.... and I remember that song she sang as she used to wait for me.... "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper..... I hear the clock tick and think of you.....If you're lost, you can look and you will find me....Time after time..... suddenly I watch as the front door swings open.... I stand up quickly to see Zero.... she's shivering, wet, and her skin is blue.... her eyes a dark purple and the only color on her whole body is a red hand mark on her cheek with a small cut.... her eyes lock onto mine instantly... "F-F-I-vvveee" She exhales out shaking..... I take a step forward... she's freezing to death.... but she takes a step back.... her eyes worried... her aura distant.... "Zero I'm so sorry, I didn't mean any of it... I love you... I never would hurt you on purpose...." I feel myself start to choke up at the end....
Zero's POV:
I felt so numb after what Five said... I just wandered and wandered.... before I knew it I was close to death.... I've died before from hypothermia.... not a great way to go.... I didn't know where else to go..... but I still feel so numb..... A tear slides down his cheek and I shiver stuttering out "J-u-st Gi-ive me a rea-son" I can't move my fingers but I lift my hand slightly and "Just Give Me A Reason" by P!nk starts playing......

I watch Five's face as tears run down his face and he looks at his own two hands..... the song ends and he breathes in shakily, "I love you so much, I didn't mean to hurt you.... please Zero.... I need you... without you I don't know who I am...your not a mistake...your the best thing I've ever had..." His eyes look up to meet mine and I see the hurt and fear in them..... he means it... I believe him.... because well he's the best thing I've ver had too.... "I-I don't kn-ow who I am w-ith-out you e-ither.... y-our it f-or me" I stutter out in between heavy shakes..... he sighs in relief as he blinks over to me.... I flinch a bit as his arm reaches out for me but I nod at him and he slowly puts his hand on my shoulder...
"Oh my god Zero.... you're ice" he worriedly exclaims... I shiver out at him as my eyes slowly start to close....I feel my feet let go of the floor but Five catches me..... "No Zero!" I hear Five yell, "Stay with me!" I flutter my eyes open for a moment "S-o-rr-y J-us-t so c-old" his eyes dart around nervously as I close mine again.... so sleepy.... "Th-is way t-o go has alwa-ys bee-n on-e of my le-ast favorites" I whisper out and I hear Five growl down at me as I think he lifts me up.... "Don't you dare" I hear but I can't help it.... I feel his voice fade as I slip into the cold....at least I'm back with Five now.... I know I'm not a mistake to him.... I wouldn't want to be anywhere else..... at least I'm in his arms this time....
